It's a strong smell, it doesn't give you a headache but it brings it to that level. Also, you are exposed to this smell all day long. is it good? I didn't know. but it's not my style.

Naxos is some of the best in its kind, the longevity and radiance very good, aromatic, well priced, the whole 1861 line is, but Naxos is the strongest out of the 4. Naxos and Alexandria II must be the topsellers of the house and rightfully so.

Great review from a great reviewer. I really was looking for the tobacco note from you. It is placed in the tobacco category by many other reviewers. I really enjoy Naxos when I wear it. My 6 year old daughter really loves it. I only have 23 fragrances, and when she sniffs the bottles, Naxos seems to be her favorite. She smells the sweetness. Thanks for your review

If we are just giving a grade on scent alone, Id give it a 9.6.

The problem with Naxos to me is it is very linear. There is no depth and no journey. It is a fantastic opening, and then basically just gradually fades away. The drydown is nothing special, the scent basically just becomes milder and milder until its a skin scent.
Projection Id give it a 7.0 Performance about a 6.0 Scent 9.6.
Price 8.0.

Interestingly, I did not like it as much... Two wearings so far... Will carry on but so far I don't care much for Naxos 😕

After getting through a 10ml decant, I've decided I don't care for Naxos at all. It's very medicinal to me and simply unattractive. I even got some crowd feedback that suggested its medicinal qualities... some guy smelled it on me and said, "Ah, Vicks Mentholatum, the smell of the season!" 😅 Glad I didn't blind buy it.

I’ve tried a solid three samples and I can barely even smell it on my skin. I’m so disappointed it sounds so amazing. Is it just my skin chemistry that’s cancelling it out?

Naxos is beautiful. That’s all I can say. It’s probably the most elegant perfume I’ve ever smelled with that sweet jasmine and underlying tobacco

I paid for a discovery set and naxos came broken. Asked for a replacement and they said I need to place another order or just get a refund for the 10$ for the one broken vial.

I have received a sample of Naxos few days ago the first day I wore it I got 3 compliments from friends and colleagues at work they loved it and I love it as well. It’s fantastic I ordered 2 bottles already because this fragrance has become my new signature scent 10/10 ❤️

So I think you might have answered your own request for more projection with your musings about warmer climates. Wore this to a baseball stadium for an early afternoon game. Direct sun causes a fragrance explosion. My goodness, this is delicious.
