How to Improve your Aim INSTANTLY!

Im a controller player and i used to keep beating my friends in fights but one of my friends kept saying after i beat him a lot that "YOU HAVE AIMBOT!!! THATS WHY YOUR SO GOOD!!!" And aimbot is his term for aim assist. So i turned off aim assist to prove i am better. And i was just as good without it. So how can i get better at aiming without aim assist?

for console players: i recommend putting your aim assist down to around 50%, after a while once you feel like you have 100% aim assist again (normally after a week of using 50%) try to move up to like 55%-75%, once you feel normal with that again then you should turn it back up to 80-%-100%, you don’t have to turn it back to 55% or 80% and skip to 75% or 100% but i would recommended doing 50% > 55% > 75% > 80% > 100%, this should take about 3 weeks and once it’s done you’ll probably feel like you have aim bot lol.

It doesnt matter what i have tried my aim is still consistently trash, i change then do good for min then back to trash aim. My aim has been trash for years no improvement. No matter how hard i try

i can aim well on controller with switching my thumb from right stick to A the whole time

It's just kind of nonsense Fortnite is no longer a skill, it's just more luck. I aim exactly at the point where the opponent is but nothing hits why all the shots go past him. In Overwatch I always hit because the shot goes where I aim ........

Definitely going to try the 1600 dpi thing, never heard it anywhere else. Also every time I hear people talking about finger aiming they use a small mouse, is it necessary? I mean I've tried that myself but my mouse is a Logitech G502 Spectrum, a mouse that is relatively long and finger aiming with this feels really uncomfortable (even though I have large hands). Is it a matter of mouse or just perseverance ?
