What a fascinating video. I had never really considered before just how much work and how many steps went into a quality drumset. Respect, wow!

What about solid shells? Most of my Premier drums were solid, usually mahogany. Not keen on the layered board stuff.

About 10 years ago, I did a side-by-side comparison with a $3400 Tama set and a $1800 Peace set. I was not impressed with the Tama set, especially at that price point. Needless to say, I went home with the Peace set. I, however, now play a Ludwig Breakbeats set. With age comes smaller and lighter equipment.

Great craft skills allied with care in this very well produced video. It's so refreshing to hear a commentary that doesn't swamp the visuals or assaults the ears with needless music. I had a TAMA loved that Drumset double bass 13 and 14 rack Tom’s 16 and 18 floor Tom’s black sold it in 1995 what a mistake that was 😢I have a DW now. I sure miss that TAMA the TAMA sounded better playing live gigs the DW is good to record with it’s a hard choice to choose which was better I can’t decide
