like and engineer is never done studying and learning ... a workshop is never complete ... there is always something that needs to be added ... as te experience and needs change ...

the communal gathering spot and work area is always a great layout because you can get the extra hands when needed easily and keep an eye on everything and even little ones when they come along ...

I am sure like me when growing up you had the mom's of the street taking turns keeping an eye on the kids playing making sure they were all right etc .. something which we have lost because now it is every family for themselves instead of a community of people

I went to school in Moab. Gorgeous place with so much to se. It’s sad though to see how commercialize Moab is. It certainly was never like that when I lived there. The way I say it is it got Jackson holed and if anybody’s been to Jackson Hole & know what I’m talking about

I am disappointed when I see your Lead and then watch the video. I watch you for homesteading, building, animal husbandry, etc and don't watch you for travel. Please give us a heads up with an honest Lead so we can skip what we're not using out time to watch. Thanks 🤞

Don't get too much on your plate. A smart man once told me to specialize in one thing, and you'll be very successful.

Otherwise, you might have too many irons in the fire as they say, and you'll just be busy all the time, just my opinion.

I think you would really enjoy seeing Schoenbrunn village in Ohio.

Shawn you need to offline your edit. That audio issue would be an eazy fix, and I am sure you would have a follower out there who could assist. File transfer is easy these days (hightail) and safe with your vpn. Just a thought.

That's always a problem when trying to sync audio, when one audio track is faster or slower than the one you are trying to sync up. I use Vegas Pro video editor and they have a great option to "time stretch" an audio or video track while preserving pitch (so it doesn't sound like a chipmunk). Quick easy fix. I do it all the time.

I miss your old ways, the amazing videos,the little cabin but hey ho I was living a dream through you but still miss it ... don’t forget less is more ... go well

The VanStralens are fantastic people and channels. Glad y’all can encourage each other. When Dan first started scribing I encouraged him to see how you modified yours to use sharpie markers. 😂 The pencil was giving him fits. Now I see him building his tool collection. He’s learning! And you are influencing!

Physically and mentally I am a very hard working young man of 21. But it is hard to even find the will to work in this society.. And I am not lazy. I just don't see how I can get the funds to live this self reliant life style. I guess I have to just work for some years until I got the funds to start up. Your channel(s) are a real inspiration !

I absolutely love EFRT! Awesome channel and family! If I didn't homestead like you I would definitely road trip with my children if I were to have a do over. 😊
