All amd cards come with Starfield Premium Edition? Wtf? where is that info from, Linus? Where can I find my key for steam?

Currently have an gtx 1060, so an upgrade is needed, so hard choice then. Team green or red. The processor will be team red, just need to find a good combo with gpu.

I was bummed that I bought a 6800xt and then the 7800xt came out soon after for the same price I got mine at. But now I'm glad I did.

Simply, if you want better preformance for your money and you only care about higher frames, the RX 7800 XT is better for most situations. But, if you want higher quality gaming with extra realistic shaders, then you want the 4070.

I wanna know how these cards stack up using AI, or computing.. or simply even Hashcat Benchmarking, displaying multiple modes benchmarked.. so that this WILL gain popularity if shown... That is the type of info the non-gamers wanna see... THIS is what i would like to see to be able to make informed decisions on buying cards

there is not much to improve with gpus other than making them more energy efficent and cheaper to produce

the xtx is 2-300$ more than the xt7900 .... currently building a pc and yeah idk if 10fps more is worth 300$ more....? by the time theyre irrelivant id rather spend 300 more on the future 4k cards in like 2027. like tf is 2-300 more for ONLY 10fps more loln

I came across a problem that for some reason the server boards Supermicro H12SSL 7763 percent, the EXTERNAL video card does not turn on, (I don’t know about your video) they rewrote the BIOS, and they couldn’t find why. We tried two AMD RX 7900XTX video cards, the video signal appeared several times. But when you reboot the PC, the board is immediately transferred to the internal video card. Maybe super micro specifically blocks cards from AMD. We also first tried with a GIGABYTE motherboard and the same thing. That is, it turns out that anyone who wants to build such a PC with AMD cards will not work!!! You will only need to buy NVIDEO, and it is not a fact that it will work with everyone.

As someone going all in on Team Red for GPUs (at least until I hear "Oh damn, Arc Battlemage/Chimera/Dragoon/whatever got hands now"), I sincerely do not care about frame generation or FSR 3. At least, I won't care about it for the next 5 years at least (you know, the correct use case for frame generation? prolonging the lifespan of your GPU? I remember the good old days). The only reason that seems to make sense to me about why everyone is up in arms about frame generation is that game developers (publishers and management, more likely) are dropping the ball with performance optimisation in all of the shiny, new, big AAAAAAA releases.
Like, I'm not playing Starfield (it's a shame, as a medium length Elder Scrolls/Fallout fan, but I'm holding out until Bethesda either sells it for the price of a loaf of bread, or seems to learn from their mistakes), I have yet to play a lot of big releases from past years, let alone new ones, and my current shortlist of games I want to play are either oldish, low in performance requirements, or handled by devs who very much care about an optimised experience. I'm very much not affected by optimisation, at least outside of "This game is so old that running above 60fps makes everything run at increased speed", or "This game will not open on a system newer than Windows 7".

If I was more interested in playing something released in the last 3 months, I would just simply be more discerning about the games I play, and advocate for optimisations, rather than shackle myself to having half of the frames I see in games be technically incorrect at best and smeary, blurry, lossy artifacts at worst. It's not like there's a shortage of games that are super shiny or are beloved by gorillions of people, so just play something else.
Hopefully, the actual hardware side of GPUs gets a bit more promising sometime soon; if they start pushing each other on price, maybe AMD and Nvidia will start pushing on other fronts. Maybe. Perhaps. If we're good and eat our metaphorical vegetables. Or there will be no supper. We will only be allowed to sup on these metaphorical nuts.
