Really appreciate for sharing your experience. You explained so smoothly. My opinion was that like if someone doesn’t know English still can find out how to set up thru watching this video.
Thank you

I truly appreciate all content creators who spend time with uploading videos - two thumbs up for them. Really. However, what I notice is that with every video, every comment is about how wonderful they are, how great the video is... etc, which helps the ego, obviously, but does not help to LEARN to get better. I believe constant improvement is the basis of success, so let me just add this: most "how to" video makers presume that the viewer KNOWS what you are talking about, and that they know the software etc. They do not. We are morons. If we were not, we would not need these videos, because we would figure it out on our own. So in this video, you get to the part that "my GarageBand recognizes the Scarlett right away", I am thinking: good for you bud. My GarageBand does not. Now what? You need to assume some of us got GarageBand that does not recognize the Scarlett, and then we get stuck right there - and the rest of the video is basically useless from that point. So what you want to do is "My GarageBand recognizes Scarlett right there, BUT IF your GarageBand does not, here is what you got to do...." I warn all content creators the same: imagine your viewer is an 8 year old boy who wants to learn how to record himself and his grandpa. Now this boy will not know how to get GarageBand to recognize the Scarlett. He needs to learn that. So now he has to go and find another tutorial about GarageBand, and then another one.... and so on. See my point? Cheers

thumbs up. I;'m not sure why focusrite has only one headphone inlet but maybe its because it's for music. I'm using it for podcasting and the splitter amplifier solves the issue. Thanks again. subscribed!

I love this video and how amazing this guy explains everything. He explained how most of the things work without me even having to look them up while not even meaning to. I love his voice as well. Keep up the good work, I would love to see more videos like this👍

I loved your PodCast demonstration with Garagee Band. When you were on Garabe Band at one point your record meters were not working so you it Alt D. and or Alt T. obviously on a PC. What is the equivalent code on a Mac? Thanks

So I've got the idea the shure sm7b is good with a cloud filter! My question is what headphones are you using, and could I use the shure sm7b and another separate branded mic and still get good responses if both need the cloud lifter?? Thank you

Thank you for the video.

I was just wondering if you can use GarageBand on a HP laptop?

My plan is to get a podcast up and running with me as the host and a guest would I be using this setup for that? That will mean getting a cloud lifter and headphone splitter for headphone for myself and the guest?

Also will I have to touch anything on the laptop when I start recording?

I have a problem with scarlett in live, we do not have the equal voice outcome, most likely the vocal most is out but the keyboard and guitar we barely hear it. we connect with mixer Mackie Profx 16v. Please help

I purchased the Samsung Q2U mics and the Audio Tech M20X headphones. I kept overall costs really low. Do I need the 4 way headphone splitter? Can I connect the mic directly to the Scarlett? I want to start my podcast but am not a tech person at all!! Any inout or feedback on the equipment I'm pricing together? I wanted to use the audacity bc it appears to be simple. Your expertise and feedback is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to get two XLR mics to work on A Focusrite, with Hindenburg Pro. I cannot arm both tracks. Isbit a Focusrite option/button I am missing? Or is it something I might need to do in the software setting of Hindenburg? Thank you in advance.

Great demo. Is there such thing as an interface that would allow TWO mics, and TWO headphone jacks, so that BOTH could monitor their voices?
I just want to do an interview into my computer. Thanks!

Thanks for the video! I am recording a podcast with a co host, so I need to headphones to come out of the Scarlett. My question is, can I use a regular headphone splitter, like a jack that connects to the scarlett from 1 end and has 2 ports from the other end to plug in the headphone? Or do I need a splitter like the one you are using?

Hi friend,

What it the cable that you are using to connect the Focusrite AI to your mac, hence I know focusrite does not have Type B and Type C in one cable. Thanks
