Ответитьim glad this exists in the world. it gives me hope!
ОтветитьYou guys are amazing.
ОтветитьWhen I was working on my BS in Anthropology, my professor had us look at raw data from around the world and use it to come up with our research project. I couldn't wrap my head around the unspeakably high maternal mortality rate in Sierra Leone and ended up writing a comparison of SL's healthcare infrastructure and social determinates as compared to Finland which had a rate of nearly zero. I've never forgotten the rage I felt researching the issue, reading about the cultural factors that affected women seeking care. Not long after, you coincidentally started covering the topic on this channel.
I am in tears watching this change happen. It's a topic that's been close to my heart ever since and I am so impressed by the experts on the ground making this happen for, with, and because of, the people of Sierra Leone.
I worked with a small charity group sending money for food to an orphanage and school in this country. Although so much of Africa struggles I am so happy to see that more and more work is happening here. These communities can become so much stronger with the help of others and their own communities that work so hard. I love what the community has done, in still in highschool and thought I try to give a little I can't donate to these things but making real change in the world makes me happier than anything else in the world.
Ответитьplease dtw
Ответитьtotally agree about the phenomenal sharpie hardhat
ОтветитьI cried at this. The work being done is amazing. My partner and I are currently trying for our first child, and this just reminded me of how fortunate we are to live in a place where not only do we have access to high quality maternal care, we even have a choice between three different hospitals within a reasonable distance where she could be very well taken care of during the delivery. How massively lucky we are.
ОтветитьHave you seen what the LDS is doing to wemon in the USA
ОтветитьThis is incredible. Can I ask how much of the Elecricity is from Solar, or other renewable resources?
ОтветитьNerdfighteria is awesome :)
ОтветитьI work in ICT at a hospital in the Caribbean, I would love to be a part of something like this if I got the opportunity

ОтветитьThis is absolutely fantastic to see. Their futures are looking brighter. It's great to see all those women in these roles as well. So cool, you and they should be so proud of all they've accomplished and will continue to accomplish.
ОтветитьWow, what a BOLD statement!
ОтветитьLove this place vblogbrothers
ОтветитьThis is absolutely amazing!! Good work, everyone!!
ОтветитьFor anyone wondering I looked up pih's overhead and it is about 12 percent meaning 88 percent of what is donated actually helps people.
Ответитьbros literally on the crash course
ОтветитьThis has in 7 minutes become one of my fave videos, despite going through all my tissues. Thank you for showing us progress not just in "the project", but in the community and people in Sierra Leone as well. Thank you for turning our attention to this problem, for putting faces and names to the people who need help, and for continuing to offer that help and attention.
ОтветитьHell yeah!
ОтветитьMy mum would have died from a postpartum haemorrhage with me if not for living in Australia with a well-funded healthcare system. I am planning on becoming oregnant next year and I dont fear for my life. I donate every month to this project, for the above reasons but also because it's the right thing to do. No one should have different health outcomes based on where they had the fortune or misfortune to live.
ОтветитьSo proud of all of you!
ОтветитьE
ОтветитьHow much of that $$ greases palms and how much goes to the hospital. I'm sorry but I don't think it can really grow it the rate expected.i pray I am bitter and cynical 🥺😢
ОтветитьThat is an amazing Sharpie hat…😊
ОтветитьYou are all so beautiful ❤ I’m sobbing happy tears
ОтветитьWow that is a phenomenal sharpie hat!!!
ОтветитьIts so good to see how women contributes. They absolutely can and do alot of things simultaneously. This is our mom, sister, friend, cousin, aunt, daughter. Women are also real good with communication, they got emotional intelligence. I worked in the construction industry, I've worked with women and they are just as capable as men. As one of my boss said "what you don't have in the muscle you have in the brain and that's better. Anyone can get stronger. but smarter...is another story"
ОтветитьMy midwifery apprenticeship was interrupted, as were many others, when midwives joined Doctors Sans Borders in Sierra Leone.
This news is so phenomenal, so life-saving, so HOPE INSPIRING!!!!
I had missed this video coming out due to personal health issues... perfect timing today to have this follow your video from 3 days ago in my recommendations.
Thank you all!!! ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI just got done watching your "Why Are Poor Countries Poor?" video from 3 years ago and it's crazy to see this video now.
Ответитьthe last part about the good news room. damn, man... that hit different.
ОтветитьThis is so heartwarming. Brilliant work to all those involved in any and every way. People-power for the win.
ОтветитьLove me some socks!!! I'm so happy to be a tiny little part of this!!!!
ОтветитьI’m crying tears of joy. In 1988, I was born 3 and 1/2 months early via emergency c-section. I nearly died 3 times and wasn’t supposed to live. If not for the Grace of God and my doctors, I wouldn’t be here. It THRILLS me that premie babies in Cono will have drastically improved lives and that families will thrive.
ОтветитьThis was interestingly what came up in my feed right after your brother's cancer announcement. It helped me to see something so hopeful.
ОтветитьThe updates on this project always make my week. Thank you for so devotedly using your platform to decrease world suck!!
Ответить👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
