I hope saranda doesn't become too popular. we are doing everything we can to make it a place for locals. if people with money from abroad come in and buy, nothing will be affordable for the people in albania, Albania is a place where basically capitalism is a foreign concept, we value equality. Even after so much change, so many years living in capitalism, people expect others in their family group to be living a life within reasonable means as are others. we do not value people who live luxury lives.

albania made produce has a high chance of being poisoned with pesticides that are illegal in the EU or USA. lots of albanian produce exports get confiscated by the customs of the importing countries

Stumbled upon your channel and really like the content. Really appreciate the real feel of the country. Glad you mentioned the smoking aspect. Can't say we are excited about it but at least we have been warned. Can you drink the tap water? or do you need to boil and cool off then drink the water? I don't drink bottled water due to the plastic, so I could not see myself drinking bottled water all the time. Thank you.

Good vacations for foreigners, but a poor life for Albanians. To understand this you must learn the minimum pension Albanians get, or understand unemployment. Then you learn haw many "eggs" Albanians by with their pension and compare with Americans. Albania is a beautiful country but Albanians live on poverty. Even the bitches are "occupied" and Albanians can not enjoy the life they lived before. Reporters as tourist visitors have not understand. the basics of economy.
