ОтветитьI have a 73 page script to memorise within the next 5 weeks, it's my first actual play, macbeth by Shakespeare and as someone whos new to acting, getting the role of macbeth is a lot of pressure and I hope this works

ОтветитьI'm always impressed by actors/singers who can memorise stuff well, I am dreadful at it, so bad I wrote a software tool to help do it.

ОтветитьI really liked this video. It was very informative but also gave me a different slant on memorising lines. Doing the actions as well helped give me an idea of how to portray the character, and also helped me become that character. Well done, and thank you for sharing.

ОтветитьBy reading it thru different perspectives you are actually making the memory association stronger. When it comes to memory, it's like a balloon on its way up to the clouds. Try tying it's tail with different stones and you'll make it stay. Tie it with one stone and you'd lose it. Also what would make a stone heavy is dependent upon the emotions in it. If a certain memory has deep emotions behind it will always translate to long term.

And I found that I retained the melody and script better when I was on the cycling machine!

I am going to be in a play on Friday and I have 80 lines in total. I have about 20 more lines to memorize. I’m supposed to be off script today or tomorrow, so I’m really thankful for this! Thanks!
