Also with noting that persistent vibrations can actually be dangerous. I know it as white finger but just be cautious as ever
ОтветитьI received one as a gift. The plastic attachment part to put the bottle holder on broke after less than a dozen uses. Unusable for metallizers as the pigments accumulate at the bottom of the bottle. Don't waste your money, just put a paper clip on your Dremel and set it at slow speed.
ОтветитьDon't buy it until they solve the plastic connector problem. I thought it was interesting and it did as expected while it worked. However it breaks too easily. Well, the plastic connector it breaks. That is why GSW seells a plastic connector as seperate item too. The worst part is that GSW censors bad reviews. I posted the review bellow 2 times and they didn't post it. That is also why there is only good reviews for this item in their website.
"The rubber adapter is connected to the handle motor by a plastic connector.
That plastic connector suffers too much forces and it will break after some use. GSW sells a replacement for a reason. I already broke 2 after a few weeks of light use each. the battery lasted longer that the 2 connectors."
It seems a bit odd to try to mix paint with a centrifuge, which is otherwise used specifically to separate stuff… 🤔
Thanks for sharing your experience!
As an army painter user, I approve this message
ОтветитьFantastic review, thanks a lot!
ОтветитьAt this point why not just use a drill? Most folks probably already have one.
ОтветитьMy connecting piece snapped when it was spinning. Only got 4 or 5 uses out of it. Would not recommend. There's no way to replace this tiny piece =/
Ответитьthanks bro
ОтветитьPretty sure my wife is mixing paint with one of these in the bathroom. She seems really really happy with the results, even if she never comes out with any paint.
ОтветитьSo it's a shaker that spins instead of shaking then !
ОтветитьYou have a lot of user errors, don’t you.
ОтветитьTwo agitators in each bottle plus a vortex mixer is what I use. Then I add a couple shakes afterward because I've been a creature painting. (Poorly) for 35 years and I can't break the habit.
ОтветитьGood to see you back making videos and this is doing very well!
ОтветитьNever seen this once before, great to see a review on it! I mostly use pro acryl which has the glass agitators inside so i've not had any issues with hand mixing so i'll prob not get anything for now.
ОтветитьI made an attachment for a jigsaw. Its butally loud but 30 seconds perfect !
ОтветитьI just bought one of those massage guns, which wasn't that much more expensive and it shakes the pots like there's no tomorrow. Does it fast AND I can use it to massage my sore back and shoulders once I'm done with painting 😂
ОтветитьLinks?
ОтветитьI reckon I’ve seen one of these in me mums drawer!
ОтветитьThat's an interesting device, I've also got the small UK desk problem and my vortex mixer does take up a noticeable amount of space.
I've even been thinking of downgrading my compressor to save space
Just use a vibrator, it works great and has other uses…
ОтветитьGet a vortex mixer it will last longer .
ОтветитьAnother rubbish, over priced, restickered, ali express product.
It wont be mixing the paint enough to actually do much of anything - nothing compard to a vortex mixer, and with the frankly weird attachments, not suitable for brands where youd actually need a mixer
Gonna be great when the GW lid pops open while you’re shaking. I’ll stick to my vortex lol
Ответитьteribble product. buy a vortex its awesome
ОтветитьGreen stuff world products are doing extremely well
ОтветитьI'm confused as to how this works. Centrifugal force separates mixtures, that's why they're used in labs.
Otherwise you could put paints in a sock and spin it around.
looks like a nice solution for people, who go to local stores to paint their minis. Not as heavy and bulky as a vortex mixer.
ОтветитьNeat, it's a mini "I Can Mixx" spray paint mixer, my look into this next order I do from GSW. Are you using beads in the bottles? My help if not.
ОтветитьWhy would you want three speed setting ?!? Surely just fastest speed always? I don't get it lol. :/
I'd pay no more than £10 for it. But I'm stingey!
Cheaper solution, Buy a pack of stainless steel ball bearings from Amazon. I got a 100 or so for about a £5 max. Put two in each paint pot, that and about a 5 minutes shaking gives a really good mix. Mine were 7 or 8 mm ir if remember right, but you can always measure to get the largest size. And don't use them in glass jars :-) Maybe look for heavy plastic beads.
AND the stainless steel bit is important!
Knowing my luck I'd put a a slightly open pot in and it would go everywhere 😆
ОтветитьThis is one of the saddest things I've ever seen...
ОтветитьI'll be trying a nail polish shaker.
ОтветитьThis is a horrible design. Centrifugal force is used to isolate solids that are suspended in solution, which is exactly what paint is. So this thing will actually do the opposite of what you want. Get a vortex mixer. It’s actually designed to evenly distribute solids into a solution.
ОтветитьI'm much more on the vortexer side here. With a bead in the bottle the vortex stirring in the bottle is much better than spinning the bottle (even with a bead in it). I guarantee at some point a bottle full of paint will get away from you making a huge mess. This spinner could literally fling a bottle across the room. A vortexer or a tattoo ink stirrer are much safer options, as you always have control of the bottle.
Ответитьi wonder how it would do if you dropped in a couple paint mixing balls (ie from army painter or ak)
ОтветитьI have one like this, but when i bought it, it was called a nail polish mixer. I also have a vortex mixer. They work best in tandem, but the real kicker is having beads or balls inside the bottle. For GW pots, the milk frother/mini blender seems to work the best.
ОтветитьI have one of those massage guns and the dropper bottles strangely fit perfectly where the attachment slots in. Magnificent. For how, just hold it or rest it against something
ОтветитьThanks for the great review, I was considering buying one but I think I'll wait and get a vortex mixer.
Ответитьsounds like it not very good at mixing......
ОтветитьI use a power saw to mix paints (is it called a jigsaw?). Buy a long blade, wrap it in insulating tape to protect from the sharp edges, then attach the paint pot with a thick elastic band. Set the jigsaw at the slowest setting. It's not centrifugal so mixes better. Dirt cheap - if you already own a jigsaw... It doesn't however have the convenience that this GSW device does.
ОтветитьGood review. Not sure I'd want to get this since I already have a vortex mixer. But might be great for a portable paint kit.
