How Do I Downgrade Windows 11 to Windows 10?

It’s easy if you’re quick. After that, it gets complicated.

Realy don't like Windows 11 but didn't adequately note the 10 day roll-back. I know I would mess up trying to load all my data to another place. Think I may take my computer back to where I bought it and have them do it. They did a masterful job of saving all my data and settings.

Hey Leo! 👋 I am interested in purchasing a new laptop that comes with Windows 11HOME but I will want to downgrade to Windows 10PRO. Please let me know if this is possible and the easiest way to do such. My concerns are Activation Code from 11Home to 10Pro and recognition from 11HOME license, or if I would have to enter PRO product key, or just do a fresh install on a NEW PC 🤦‍♂

Windows 11 is SO full of bugs even in late March 2022. I'm over it. I don't care how difficult the process is, I'm going back to Windoze 10.

I have a question, is auto-zooming a common problem for Windows 11 and if so, do you know how to fix it? I didn't have this with Windows 10 and the issue occurred a month after I installed Windows 11. I know it's not my laptop's age because I got it 2 years ago.

Question: How about downloading the Windows 10 ISO file using the "media creation tool" and running its setup.exe from within Windows 11, keeping all settings and data. Is that still a viable option?

My laptop is hanging on by a thread and I'm putting off getting a new one because the replacement I'm looking at (with the specs I need) comes with Windows 11. Is there any way I can make a backup image of the dying laptop that's running Windows 10 and install that on the new laptop, thereby obliterating Windows 11 on the new machine? Alternatively, is it still possible to download and install Windows 10 to/from a flash drive and use that as a work around in this situation?

Why do you upgrade to Windows 11 in the first case? If I were Microsoft, I would also am angry because it shows me that you are NOT sure what you are doing! Sorry, man - stick with it!

How do you back up windows operating system on disk or thumb drive?

One thing about the nuclear option is some software may require you to have your license codes handy. You may not have these codes readily available years after paying for such software. I have run into this problem when helping friends where they purchased software online years ago and upgraded but lost the codes.
