Every time Hawk vassalizes in a situation where he can just take all their land and release them, I cry. They will start friendly and loyal as opposed to immediately hostile. Also they will reset their ideas and tech.

If you're feeding a vassal some provinces (non cores) in a war, it's cheaper (warscore) to take all the provinces for yourself and then grant your vassal whichever provinces you wanted to give them after the peace deal. Not sure why this is, but it does make a small difference so you can take more territory.

Tbh with that many forts. It might have been a good idea to start with defensive. The morale will win you most battles and the fort maintenance will be noticeable. Not an idea group I use often in the ealy game, but this start could do with it.

When playing as Tripoli and after finishing up Tunisia, you could rename a province like Tunis the city itself to "laith sucks". No hate against him but that would be funny and keep up that friendly rivalry between them

at this point you should just spin at the beginning of the video of the nation you're doing, it seems easier than promise a nation and not deliver it because you can't get started, at least you can post a community note asking for help on how to get it started and do other stuff while you wait

As Tripoli you should relocate to somewhere in South Asia so you get elephant sprites and then march them over the alps.

Since Tripoli means Tri-Polis (three cities), you should conquer all cities with Poli in the name :
Constantinople (constantinopoli)
Edirne (adrianopoli)
Bolu (poli)
Gelibolu (Galipoli)
Tarabulus Al sham (Tripoli in lebanon)
Naples (Neapoli)
Felibe (Filipopoli)
Nigbolu (Nicopoli)
This way it will be challenging, you will have to fight Naples, the Ottomans and the Mamluks, 3 strong nations in the med but not too hard to defeit either (lets ignore the russian cities such as Kargopol, conquering from Lybia to Novgorod would be boring)
