Symptoms of failing variable valve timing solenoid and when to replace it

Which years of Toyota engines use this selenoid?

From now on, I will be replacing my VVT solenoid every time I get a check engine and rough idling lol.

My code was p0012 wen I was going to take it out it got stuck inside the engine I had to get a long screw to get it out

Hi ! I have checked everything. I have a good idling, but I have jerks when applying the accelerator pedal on the road. My last solution is this solenoid valve. I only have one on the intake manifold. I have on engine warning light. Do you think these jerks could come from this valve ? Thanks for your kind answer ! Regards.
