How to change the background header color for the shopify debut theme

Hi, my Debut theme doesnt have theme.scss.liquid in the asset code section. How do I work around this?

I use narrative theme and followed step by step and this did not work. Had zero effect on my header background.

Great, however do you also have a code for sections? As Id like to change the background colors there as well, while changing the font color of the text in those sections. Hope this will be as easy as the header

how do i change it for warehouse theme? i cant find the theme.scss.liquid folder

Thanks for the video. But there isnt theme.scss.liquid, I only found theme.liquid. Is that the same thing?

This also works for the footer if anyone was wondering, just copy the code again underneath and replace wherever it says 'header' with 'footer'

can anyone help me find the CSS style for the menu items? Now that I've changed the header background (thank you The Frustrated Dropshipper), I can't find where the color of the menu is to change?!

Trying this in March 2021. It's not working for me. The header is remaining stubbornly white. I'm definitely saving it, so it's not that? What can the problem be?

thanks, don't forget to find the code under theme.css and to delete the small red dot after inserting your color

Hi, I'm learning how to make a website from zero here. I have a round logo. how do I make the header height only half of the width of the logo so the header is aligned with the top half of the logo only? Thanks
