Beautiful ship. As a fan of the likes of the caterpillar, and the 600i & 890 jump, i love this new look. It has me wanting more tall multideck ships to compliment the long ships.

I can’t imagine how that design is aerodynamic. How does that thing fly in atmosphere?

I love the color coordination and how refreshing different it is. We all spend alot of hours doing the same things, but this ship puts a nice twist on our regular view ❤

The most useless room in any ship can be a perfect place for packages...just put them in the bathroom and close the door. I have been doing that from day 1.

I like that cig is taking a creative approach to alien ships.

Honestly I love the addition of environmental story telling. I wouldn't have caught the implications of the stone paneling- In fact my guess would've been it was some kind of paint applique- so that's quite praise worthy.

Worst part of the Syulen toilet is the placement of the toothbrushes.

There is actually a way to change the lighting. In each room at least one of the buttons will have a button in each of the triangles corners to change the lighting.

Its really cool and the Quantum fuel capacity seems insane for a ship of thos size. Love that quantum travel looks different

I like lots of things abt the ship but I rly love the marble look on its wings

My first experience with the Syulen felt truly alien. It had buttons and doors in the expected places but it was the appearance off the ship in the hangar when i first got a look at it's almost tripod appearance, the use of stone or what is meant to LOOK like stone, the non-standard or even not obvious places to store cargo that hooked me almost instantly and has me looking further at the alien ships on offer but especially the designs from Gatac. It really felt like the artists took some extra steps to try and remove human design elements from the vessels appearance. That's more than one characteristic so hopefully i'm not dq'ed :) Thank you for this review, you did the ship real justice.

Someone else said it, and I agree with it; the Syulen isn't a starter ship for new players, it's a starter ship for veteran players who want an interesting start every wipe or when the game launches.

I just love the shape of this ship, it makes me reminisce about older SCI-FI titles from when I was a kid. :)

I just like how this ship has radial symmetry (rather than bilateral). As of this comment, you can't design ships in Starfield like this.

If they could add vast (perhaps architecturally useless) liminal spaces to a radially symmetrical ship, it would be the best alien ship for me. It would suggest purposeful design with the symmetry but wouldn't make sense to my mind with large stretches of unused space--kind of like nature/biology.

Can't help but think that some of these Ships are just overdesigned.

I found the one guy who likes the over designed space toilets! Game would probably be much further along if it wasnt for Chris Roberts love for toilets.

The Syulen is a great ship. Just not for new players! I really like the fresh challenge for seasoned players when trying to master the take off and landing. 😅 Great review!

How have I never seen a single one of these or mention of it til like 3 days ago?

I could settle for a higher placed entrance point if it means having perhaps 4scu interior cargo space...then having the exterior cargo box holders as an added bonus, a total of 10 scu.

I found that i can land this ship better than my Mustang 😄

is this really a starter ship, as in I can trade my Mustang for this?

I actually really like the takeoff mechanics. In an emergency planetside, it makes quick escapes or combat readiness very interesting. And just the fact it's all together a different means of takeoff make this really attractive to me. I'd love a more human version of something like this for sure

A fantastically successful blend of Egyptian sarcophagi with luxury cosmetic aesthetic. Words I never thought I'd say.

I really hope they add a larger ship with a similar design aesthetic to it all. It just feels so 'alien' compared to the other ships.

When I finally have spare cash to spend, I think the Syulen will be my first. I just love the design, and everything about it just screams "I am your first ship" to me.

shame they had to cut her legs off and reduce her to the range of a gladius on range even on a ecnomoy qt drive in 4.0 wth is cig thinking. oh well will keep it cuase i like my alien ships.
