This is useful for getting metal from the blue zone (it’s a very steep drop) to my base

This thing is useless, the metal elevator it way better

So it’s practically useless for solo or to use as a way to get up somewhere

Why aren't the developers of the ark smart enough to put the switch on the platform?

That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard, an elevator that can only work from the top, why even have an elevator then, no point in it.

You can use it from the bottom if you use metal stuff but it does not use a lever at the top so it needs electricity

What is with people being ok with Wildcard's decision to make this a one switch operated elevator? This isn't the only area they're fucking solo players in either. Not everyone wants to play online or join a tribe. I personally don't have the patience left within me to deal with the toxic player base that Ark seems to attract so I just play singleplayer nowadays. If the game is meant to be played online then why have an option for playing offline?

If anyone wants a elevator to their cliff platform jump off the edge and where your beacon is put the tracks down

Thanks for the video. It proved to me the incompetence of the Devs once again. No player on our aberration server is able to spawn these. While pressing the key to activate the build mode for it, just nothing happens.

I'm thinking of making a. Cliff base on a PvP server so what ones should I use? Small medium or large

Don't forget Grappling hooks still work on tamed dinos and friednly players. Albeit expensive way to go up, Just park a dino near the edge and grapple up to it.

I really think they need to add a counterweight attachment so you can control it from the bottom, preferably with just one button press.
