RX 480 vs GTX 1060 | 20 New Games Benchmarks

Total BS. Lol. Just an FYI people, the RX 480 8GB dominates the GTX 1060, hands down.

Maxwell and Pascal dont have hardware based async compute, until Turing came out that changed. The RX 480 had more capable hardware but worse drivers during its release, but since the drivers improved overtime and the extra 2GB of VRAM it is now the better card. It always was the better card hardware wise, since Nvidia wanted to make their Maxwell and Pascal cards more power efficient which is why they dropped proper async compute hardware from the die and do it through software(inferior). If buying Nvidia now a days, Turing+ is the way to go, try to skip Maxwell/Pascal cards unless you get a really good deal on one.

I remember back in 2017 how people were claiming that rx 480 would have aged better... well they were right lol
