Will a Mini 4 Pro Battery Work in The DJI Mini 3 Pro?

I am curious to see what a Mini 3 (not pro) would weigh with the Mini 4 Pro light battery. Maybe even with that camera cap off. It just might be light enough to put prop gurads on for category 1 flights under part 107.

Very helpful. Apparently when you insert a Mini 3 Pro battery in the Mini 4 Pro drone you get a message on the (RC) screen saying that the drone weights more than 250g AND the message won’t go away (taking up valuable space on what is already a small screen). Can you confirm this?

What about battery firmware upgrades, do those make the batteries incompatible between the 3 and 4? Do you have to update them every time you switch?

For once dji kept the batteries compatible with both drones I have them both at the minute so great news thanks for the valuable information as always gavin your the man

👍 Now that the Mini 4 is out and is all the rage, Maybe DJI will release the SDK to Litchi for the mini 3 Pro

using a mini 3 pro I use the plus battery and the standard if I am doing 3 flights in one go. 1007km done in 48,1 hours

What colour does it need to have, and does it need to blink?
Do I need to attach it to top or bottom of the drone?
