Bruh I have a liquid cooler 240 and I had to under volt and set core ratio to around 4,2 on my 5800x to stop it from literally turning my pc off. ( Yes I removed the plastic cover and yes I'm using phermal paste AND YES I do switch It out at least once every month when I dust the computer out.) I also bought new fans for my AIO, speed around 2666rpm PLEASE HELP IT'S STILL OVERHEATING LOLOLOLOLOL RYZEN BTW

For 5600 or below the stock coolers are perfectly fine wont go more than 80C while gaming In normal circumstances the reason i would change the stock cooler its for the noise.

giving the nulll post-buy service in my isolated country I guess in 4 years or so instead of recharging liquid to my AIO cooler I'll move to a nice Budget Air Tower cooler and never worry about it again 😅

simple is: if you're budget build using ryzen 5 5600 or below, aftermarket/default air cooler would do great, but above it like R 7 5700X or more, it'll be wiser to use liquid cooler

for 4600 just set ryzen master to manual and dont buy tower cooler if not for aesthetic OR super compact ITX use 120/240 AIO your cpu will "thank you" for droping the temperature 😂

Going to build a PC for 3D rendering (Blender) with a Ryzen 5 5600x and RTX 3060 (unless the prices drop by the end of the year which means I'll go for a Ryzen 5950x and RTX 4070). But for now, lets say I end up with the 5600X. Apart from Blender I plan to use Zbrush too (for minis 3D printing). Blender uses the GPU for the scene's rendering and the CPU for modeling (nodes etc).. Zbrush uses the CPU. Should I go for a water cooler or stick to an air cooler?

No need for AIO on ryzen 5 5600X because stock cooler does fine withouth PBO always on :)

How about the different on temperture between 90mm and 120mm budget cooler? I got a AX90se on Ryzen 5 5500 but the full loading temperture are always over 80 degree.

I’m getting around 60degrees c on 5800x3d with single tower air cooler . Gammaxx a rgb. Everyone told me I would need AK620 so I ordered one. I’m sending it back. 60 degrees is very good right? Highest I seen was 75 degrees on last of us during shader building

Would you happen to have an excel sheet like that for older gen ryzen cpu's? I wanna overclock my ryzen 7 2700X, and I got a high-end air cooler, but am thinking I might as well get a decent AIO cooler, for a bit of future proofing, when upgrading CPU's and overclocking that.

Hello i just upgraded to 5600 from 2600. I used to have 50c max on 2600 , now im getting 78c on 5600 playing pubg even tho i have cooler master ma620p air tower. I used mx4 paste too. Am i doing something wrong or it's fine? Fps are not capped.

Love the content, I'm in a super hard position atm. I LOVE the look of air coolers but it feels like a waste when fancy AIO coolers are only a bit more and I don't have to worry about clearance issues. Reminds me of old school cars with the hood scoop vs new cars with more efficient air intakes.
