I was so glad to hear you say that you were not very good at testing bakelite. . I made the mistake of winning a load of bangles from shop goodwill when I first started collecting . omg bangle after bangle and ugh. I cant even wear a bangle . It has to be so huge to get over my hand and then it is to big and doesn't look right. Anyway I got some brangles that a buttery smooth but I dont know if I am testing right . all neg. I must have been nuts bidding on that box our house small and I have boxes of jewelry stacked in my grandsons toy room , he doesn't complain because he usually gets some goodies. Glad you are back hope you had a great time . I use to volunteer at girl scout camp when I was young and loved it. My presidium is back at work . The meter was stuck on diamond and one of the sellers said hers was acting crazy and she got a new pen and it was back to normal . I chanced it instead of buying a new machine and sure enough it was my pen. Learning a lot from you videos . wonder if you could layer the chokers and how it would look, but it could be annoying. wow nice box.. Love the Magenta necklace.

You measured it straight out, not doubled and the measurement you stated seems off for the length. Love the collar necklaces and the sterling lots. ❤

Hi Bryten! And welcome home! That Jersey box wasn’t a bad box. I’m sorry you were disappointed, but there were a lot of pretty pieces in there. The Beck’s chokers were fabulous! Especially the millefiore! Yes, there wasn’t much to speak of as far as precious metal, but that last necklace was beautiful. I’ve only had one NJ Blue Box and it had several sterling pieces, I was quite pleased! My very last GWBB was Dayton OH, and there was no precious metal until the last little bits and bobs when I found 2 mismatched gold and diamond earrings. And one was a stud with 1/4 carat diamond.
