Okay, my curiosity got the best of me and I just tried the Shure MVL mic. I tried 3 different headphones and 2 different PC speakers and there was a slight and I mean slight difference between the Shure and the Saramonic, but I still preferred the Saramonic or Power DeWise sound/tone. The Shure was a bit "dryer", not as much lower range, and the volume was a bit softer. No interference though so that's a bonus. The cable on the Shure was tiny and I worry about it getting damaged easily as you are pulling it in and out of shirts and jackets with zippers, and the price at $69 is more than double the Saramonic at $30. The Power DeWise was a very close second for me but since I have the Blink 500 Pro with 2 saramonic mics with windscreens and dead cats already I'll stick with that for now. Wish the Power DeWise would shorten the cable a bit, 6' makes me wrap up the extra in my pocket, which is a bit inconvenient. 🤙🤙
ОтветитьPoor shielding is not the problem, the external microphone is on the same ground as the transmitter. External audio/microphones should have their own separate ground and then problem solved.
ОтветитьThank you for making this video!!!
ОтветитьPurple Panda has interference. Did you have your transmitter on when you tested it?
Ответитьsuch a good test. That Power DeWise sounds best for me, crystal clear voice and saramonic close behindt that. unfortunately i cant find DeWise over here in europe.
ОтветитьOk, but what about the ambient sound that is extremely perceived by the lavalier? Comparing it with the sennheiser lavalier is 4 or 5 times more, and the audio is very dirty in crowder place. Unluckily with that lavalier interferience is huge. Is there any mic "hard" as the sennheiser that we can use with DJI?
ОтветитьBest - DJI
2nd - PowerDeWise
3rd - Saramonic
One thing I’ve noticed with testing the DJI mics the cable that it comes with is very important I keep getting this static noise with the S & Ts only and I was using a rode cable and then I went back to the DJI cable it it sounds much better.
ОтветитьWhat’s the reason of having a wired Mic’ when the purpose of the wireless Mic is to be free from wires?
ОтветитьI picked up the Fulaim x5 system. I haven’t tested lav mics yet. Pop voice mic pops if I raise my voice. :(
The saramonic sounded the clearest followed by Power Dewise in my opinion.
what would be useful are drone-mounted mics with AI driven noise canceling to pull out the propeller noise.
ОтветитьDewise
ОтветитьDear, Alien. the video was great and everything looks professional , but also your opinion on that test is important , i wish if you said your opinion and which mic is best
ОтветитьAwesome review 🎉
Ответитьyou are my hero ! thanks to you i solved my problem
Ответитьpower dewise sounded hotter, clearer and cleaner, id roll off some of the top end where the T's and S's live. maybe push a little 125hz and pull some 1K. saramonic was good, though kinda bordered arounded the muddy freqs. nothing minor eq tweaks cant fix. probably still pull some 1K
Ответитьwhen you changed over your studio mic to DJI at 7 minutes, your audio was not as I liked, DJI at this type of sound level, got me thinking of another brand, thank you for your share. but maybe take a broken DJI tx, hardwire the mic and try that out.
Ответитьgood review!
ОтветитьCuz great video, very useful and informative. I went with the Power De Wise
ОтветитьGreat video review of those Lavalier microphones. I just got the DJI MIC system, and was amazed to see that for the price, those Lavalier microphone (included with any other similar wireless system) were not included. Lucky for me, I happen to already have the Power DeWise lav, which was the best sounding from your test. So, I will be using this now. Oh and also ordered that red cooled cable you recommended. Thanks!
ОтветитьThis is a great video. Just what I was looking for. Question for you. I need something like this where I can connect a lapel microphone to that Dji. I need to use the receiver connected to a Bose speaker. The lapel microphone will be attached to an acoustic instrument. Will the Dji receiver connect to a wireless Bose S1 Pro speaker?
ОтветитьAwesome test! Very fair, thorough and level.
ОтветитьWhy are you using the cheapest lab mic's on the market? Of course you have bad noise and sound issues.
ОтветитьI really like the saramonic! Such a smooth response. Thanks for making this video!
ОтветитьGreat vid and straight to the point. Why not use just a lav mic without the DJI device and have it be wireless and plug directly into your recording device? ie: phone, iPad, camera, etc..?
ОтветитьGreat and thorough video, appreciate the time and effort, after watching this I subscribed. I just purchased the dji mic and the Purple Panda Lav KIT after watching this
ОтветитьThank you! This video was very helpful!
ОтветитьIs anyone experiencing volume output issues when you connect a lav to the DJI wireless system. It seems to me that the volume of audio picked up by the lav when it’s connected to the DJI system is significantly lower than the DJI by it self. I have Sure mvl lavs. Is there a setting I need to adjust on the transmitter or otherwise?
Ответитьgood job
ОтветитьWow, what a great and useful test… Chapeau! Thanks and greetings from the Netherlands.
Ответитьi have no problem with Rode lav
ОтветитьThanks for the video mate! I really like the Power DeWise and the Purple Panda mics. Just wanted to ask in terms of interference + feedback - does it matter what camera you have or not really? I have a A6400
ОтветитьI also have a DJI Mic kit, and ended up purchasing the Behringer BC Lav GO. No interference, decent sound, and comes with a TRS-to-TRRS adapter. The BC Lav is essentially the same product, but has a TRRS-to-TRS adapter instead (reverse of the BC Lav GO).
ОтветитьThe red cable you linked is trs to trrs, but in the video the red cable you have is trs to trs. Will trs to trrs work with the dji mic?
Awesome video btw. Thank you!
The Power Dewise sounded pretty good, comparable to the DJI built in mic.
ОтветитьThanks for the video it was really helpful to me in making the decision on which lavalier mic to get going for the powerdewise. I also want to mention the shure MVL heard that it works well with this system.
ОтветитьDang... I thought the Purple (something) mic sounded the best, but seems like everyone else here liked the Power Dewise. I must be slightly deaf 😔
ОтветитьInteresting. I thought the power dewise had to be powered. I sent back my dji system because I couldn't find a decent lav mic. I have the power dewise mic, but never tried it since I couldn't find any info about turning on mic power... 😮
ОтветитьPower DeWise is my favorite. Buying it now using your affiliate link. Thanks for doing these tests for us!
ОтветитьIn my opinion, the power DeWise Lav sounded the best but they all have background noise. GreT video though.
ОтветитьGreat comparison. I liked the Purple Panda mic the best. I have several Rode products and they don’t play well with the DJI Wireless System. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you for taking the time to do this test and SHARE IT! I really appreciate it... such a service.
ОтветитьPower Dewise is the best to my ears. I like the way you review products. straight to the point and come to the results that we want to know. new sub.
ОтветитьTHANKS !!!
excellent video.
What would you recommend having DJI mic settings at for indoor recording Vs outdoor? Receiver and transmitter gain wise?
ОтветитьThe fact that dji can’t recommend a mic means the issue lays with the unit and not lav mics themselves. Especially if they don’t cause interference problems with other wireless systems.
ОтветитьThank you very much for the video. I was looking specifically for this system and that kind of video. Again, great job!
Ответитьthanks you saved me I like PowerDeWise best of all
ОтветитьPowerdewise was good, but a bit harsh on the sibillents, Saramonic was a bit quieter but more balanced.
