This series brought to end Bedis carreer. Spin trio failed miserably & new team under Sunny vrs kaalicharan team brought Binny, kirthi azad, later sandeep patil into international arena later on to world cup 83.zaheer piled up runs tormenting Indians. I remember Indians never hit sixes. But kapil changed that all. Binny, kirthi, sandeep were all big hitters.

Great camera work by the PTV crew. Still remember the classy commentary team of Iftikhar Ahmed, Javed Burki & Mujahid Chishti. Lala Amarnath was in the box as well. Probably Tiger Pataudi too. If i remember correctly, it was the first time we, in India , watched a live cricket telecast from abroad.

Gone are the days when life use to prevail on grounds . Now it’s money and hatred which is ruling the support.
