ОтветитьThis woman is so talented you can see it shine through her work.
ОтветитьFantastic work
ОтветитьTip your hat to a modern Frida Ringgold. Beautiful work!
ОтветитьSo so SO lucky I got to see the Harlem Hellfighters piece at the Renwick/Smithsonian!!! Absolute masterpiece. It's really neat to see it as a WIP in this interview 🤩
ОтветитьHer art is beyond human. She vibrates on a higher level and her work reflects that. I've never seen anything this vivid..this emotional in a long....ever! God Bless her.
ОтветитьSaw Bisa’s work up close at Art Basel Miami Beach this year. STUNNING is an understatement 😍

ОтветитьShe is remarkable and her work is mind blowing! I hope that all people will see her for the message that she depicts in the eyes of here portraits? We all need to elevate people who work with their hands and make beauty of all kinds! 👍

ОтветитьTop Notch Talent. Hopefully she receives International recognition for her creations.
ОтветитьSTUNNING works of art.
ОтветитьIncredible , amazing. hearts of the people.
ОтветитьI came across her exhibition in Art Institute of Chicago by chance and ran to museum shop to find its book. It was so striking and monumental. In any method, technique or medium... her way of illustrating her subjects is one of the most striking example of portraiture in any sense, or era. This is a kind of art you have to see in person, both in craftmanship and context.
ОтветитьI was able to see her exhibit at the Institute of Art in Chicago by chance while going to see the Obama Portraits in August 2021. I think she was a bigger draw than theirs.
ОтветитьIncredible. Truly inspirational on many levels.
ОтветитьThese people are on fire with life and so real!
ОтветитьAbsolutely Powerful and just breath taking!!
ОтветитьWhat beautiful work!
ОтветитьMind blowing-ly stunning. Art and craft and soul. Lovely! Would love to see in person.
ОтветитьI just can’t imagine how she creates these pieces! How does she get all of the color changes to create faces from fabric? Color me amazed!
ОтветитьAs the daughter and granddaughter of artists and quilters I really appreciate seeing the transition of viewing quilts as utilitarian craft to being seen as the works of fine art that they are
ОтветитьA phenomenal exhibit!
ОтветитьWOW Thank you Artist Bisa Butler for sticking with your choice art form, yes your work art & very important right up there with all the rest of them and should be a part of art & design studies. So wonderful indeed, I definitely, totally understand.
ОтветитьGenius, pure genius! So emotional, extraordinary artist!
ОтветитьLove her work!
ОтветитьThe work induces thought. What words were spoken and influences made before black families decided to migrate north? A 1941 drive from North Carolina wasn't up the interstate. It was through towns and communities. Were they afraid? As they experienced "new" things, road signs and people, what did they think. Were they hungry? Were people kind to them? Did they see other families in their yards, clothes drying outside, the smell of salt marsh, smokestack, forest or backyard fires. Were their first encounters with northerners intriguing? Did they sense apprehension? Was there a conversation, words spoken that quelled fears. Did they experience promise?
Ответитьthinking faith ringgold
ОтветитьAmazing talent!
ОтветитьI SEE MYSELF IN HER QUILTS, THANK YOU.
ОтветитьI’ve made my clothes since I was 11 years old. I’ve tried my hand at quilting. These works of art are too beautiful for words.
ОтветитьInspiring
ОтветитьI could have never imagined this type of art. Absolutely spectacular!!!!
ОтветитьToo much red against blue. Gimmicky. Plays the race and gender card to foist its importance. The new Candyman actually a greater artistic statement on race.
ОтветитьShe is Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьTo say that her work is stunning is an understatement. There’s no word in the English language to describe how beautiful her art is.
