Kids are Monsters, literally i don't know about others but when i was 8 or 9 i could do the 'skin the cat', a move from calesthenics, and you should also know that i did absolutely nothing other than eating, sleeping, studying and pooping when i was a kid and now my fatass can't even hang onto a bar for 20 seconds.

ОтветитьI started self teaching myself calisthenics like 3 months ago and I randomly decided to do a backflip while hanging then returning back. I didn’t know it was a legit exercise!! Wow!!

Ответитьcan you assist on question please: i can do all movement perfectly and the way i see i can do it back to starting point.However, when i done with pulling all the way when shoulders twisted at max i either release bar automatically either i can not go back all the way(also i have power to do that but smth is not clear)

Great for shoulder stability, it also works the delts, the lat, the core the chest, and grip strength.
It definitely helps with overall confidence on the bar too.
i raise myself up a bit in like a semi pull up and then do skin the cat. is that bad or okay?

ОтветитьI remember being able to do this since I was a kid and I've simply never lost the ability to do it. It seems that this is a move that most healthy children should be able to do by default before years of bad posture and inactivity errode your ability to do it.
ОтветитьI remember when I did skin the cat and the 2nd time I may a landed on my feet the wrong way by mistake. I did that because I was scared of how I would a landed and I didn't think about how to let go and when.

I was able to do skin the cat some time ago but when i try it now my feet touches the bar and it doesnt work :(
tried doing this on rings when I was 17 and ended up with a different element : no hands headstand

That is the most stupid exercise on the planet. You can tell it only buy looking at the people who are performing it at the gym, half crazy...

ОтветитьI didn’t know you needed to train to do that, because when I started for the very first day to try this sport, I was able to do that naturally, it was normal for me I never needed any training or learn I just u know did it like it was a common thing for me like walking, I am really surprised to see that this needs training
