Stupid move by Walt here long term to not see what’s coming. He has a good idea from Jesse that Tuco is cartel connected. He shows up there showing Tuco he’s the world class chemist behind the highly profitable, one of a kind meth, and so Walt himself becomes extremely valuable.
Can’t steal that, so of course the cartel and Tuco are going to grab him up eventually, as they eventually tried w Jesse, and later a second time as the local gang did w Jesse.

One of the best scenes ever in TV. Bryan in the car later, angry, then proud, then Dylan over the top. Timing is *perfect*.
