I've been in a steady depression for the past year. It has not influenced me to be racist or bigoted to people. MAYBE grumpy or rude a few times, but hateful? Nah

I really wish no one made an apology video becasue it is not really about being sorry, and more about trying to do damage control over being demonitized and canceled on social media.

A friend of mine used to call me the f-slur all the damn time in highschool because she thought it was funny to call her only gay friend that. She apologized to me 4 years later because she realized it could have been hurtful (i wasn't hurt by it tbh), because she grew the fuck up. She took accountability. If she announced to the entire world that she used to call me the f-slur a lot, that's not an apology to ME or anyone else she may have said it to. That is just looking for sympathy for herself.

“Im sorry that i said something racist, there’s no excuse for that, all i can do now is work on myself and move on.” And also explain why racism is bad

Someone called me the n word, they hacked my fav girls only Minecraft server and they were hacking at the firewall so one of them was also in the back of server where we go if the original crashes and they were basically just trolling killing players and annoying us so I was bitching at them in chat. They were bitching back at me and they called me the N-word I’m not black, so I wasn’t too affected but like seriously man easy on the slurs

It is completely unacceptable to judge or hurt someone because of their race, you shouldn't even be hurting anyone in the first place. We are all humans and deserve the same respect no matter the race. I am disgusted by some of these excuses when there is no excuse to be racist at all.

Not to get personal, but I'm clinically depressed, severely anxious, & currently disabled by my chronic illness. Strangely, never once did I resort to shouting vile slurs aimed at marginalized people.
