A full American breakfast:
1. 3 eggs cooked to order- scrambled, poached, boiled or fried (sunny side up, over easy, over medium or over hard)
2. Choice of bacon, sausage or ham
3. Hash brown or American fried potatoes
4. Toast (white, wheat or English muffin)

In the South you get grits

Sam. NEVER EVER CALL A BRITISH BREAKFAST WITH A SCOTTISH ACCENT. TOTALLY WRONG. ITS BRITISH FRY UP AND SCOTLAND HAS PORRIDGE THATS IT AND WE HATE EACH OTHER. SO STOP THE SCOTTISH ACCENT AS YOU LOST ALL YOUR British viewets

HP Sauce is not "the British steak sauce", that would be A.1. Steak Sauce, created in 1824 by Henderson Brand, chef to King George IV, and beloved by Americans ever since.

A great English breakfast fit for a king. Great execution especially with the HP sauce for the requisite pork bangers. Outstanding cooking Sam!

Sam, you deserve to call yourself a chef, don't say that you aren't. Even if I've never made a single one of your recipes you've given me plenty of inspiration to come up with my own which is even better than the "it's my job" credentials IMO. Thank you for the videos!

And you referenced one if my favorite movies, American Werewolf in London. This actually happened to us on our hike, the very scene you mentioned. We got lost on the moors in the dark in a full moon. My son had never seen the movie, but I thought we were going to die. So we finally get to a pub and everyone, I kid you not, turned around and stared at us in horror as we set down our backpacks and hiking poles just like in the movie at The Slaughtered Lamb. Stupid Americans! But I told them we weren't Americans. We were Alaskans. Then they gathered around and wanted to know about grizzly bears, polar bears, wolves, glaciers, indians.

And I had to laugh at your can of Heinz Beans. Ringo Starr said in the Beatles Anthology that he took a whole suitcase of Heinz Beans when they went to India. He said otherwise he would have starved.😂

My son and I went hiking on Offa's Dyke National Trail in Wales a few years back. One of the B & Bs we stayed at was run by a lovely Polish woman. When we came down for breakfast she was dressed in an apron and chef's hat and I knew then she meant business 👩‍🍳 Full English Breakfast with the addition of handmade Polish pastries and when you've hiked 20 miles the previous day it is welcome hearty sustenance! I really loved this video and your London video. Brought back good memories 😊

That bread fried in bacon fat was called "army toast" by by WWI veteran grandfather. He returned from Europe with a bunch of food priorities, some of which have been perpetrated to this day.

My favorite parts of the full English are the mushrooms, the tomatoes and the fried bread, with honorable mention to the bacon. I prefer American style baked beans to the English and I'm not big on sausage, but you have to eat some black or white pudding or it doesn't count.

Very good so far, we did not have baked beans until ww2 when usa entered ww2.
Normally heinz . Dont forget dadys or hp sauce.

We would normally cook it all in the same pan. Eggs fried poached or scrambled.
Either haggis or black pudding.

Those beans aren't anything like the beans in our country?

They look exactly like vegetable beans, or more commonly consumed "pork n beans".. Are they different from those?

Sam if you had a full breakfast in Scotland you wouldn't have bubble and squeek, mushrooms or fried bread... But toast and haggis cut like the black pudding... You can't beat just a roll with black pudding and a fried egg 😋

I have had an English breakfast, in the states, and was disappointed. It was a pretty good restaurant but I like our American crispy bacon. I love the tomatoes and veggie mashed. I will try it again.

Good effort overall but you cooked most the sauce out of the beans… overcooked em for traditional beans… that will chance texture and remove your extra juice for bread…. Also not enough bread
