Okay so I kinda get why Amaleigh was rejecting all those guys with those excuses... but at the same time... if she REALLY felt like a burden or so unworthy of a relationship why was she on there?? Then her excuse for the second guy was her cat has AIDS. ( random as fuck... like okay so she doesn't want to endanger someone else's pet or her own?? Interestingly enough, Feline AIDS isn't some super contagious disease. FIV is not typically spread through sexual contact and also very rarely transmitted from a mother cat to her kittens. FIV is also rarely transmitted through casual contact, like sharing food bowls and litter boxes, social grooming, and sneezing So a cat with AIDS can easily be around cats that dont have it... Okay yeah being around unfamiliar cats there is the potential risk of bringing something harmful back to your cat, but those chances are extremely slim.. either way) She then tells Andrew that she rehabs animals... she could avoid rehabbing cats but yeah makes what she said to the previous guy seem disingenuous which makes the rest of her excuses seem the same and just a poor pitiful me attention grab... Yes I KNOW she's in a wheelchair!just something about her rubbed me all the way the fuck wrong and I don't know why

I think the reasoning Amaleigh gave could apply to herself too, though. She shouldn't label herself as 'less than' and feel like she would hamper someone else who can walk just because she can't. If anything I'd say people interested in her would prove they see her for more than just her body, and shouldn't be shot down so quick. You could also argue that someone interested in her who is super active and exercises a lot could want to do so even more in order to care for, help, and protect her since she is not as able to. I think that would be super romantic.
