when is this model coming to the US

Beautiful car! I The Passat sold in the US has been discontinued. The 2022 model year is the last year the Passat will be sold in the US and Canada. The Passat redesigned Passat sold in the US for the 2012 model year looked similar to Passats sold outside of North America but were designed specifically for the North American market and are built at VW of America plant in Chattanooga Tennessee. The US built Passat has little in common with Passats sold in other markets. When the redesigned Passat was introduced in North American in 2012 the US spec Passat has received minor facelifts and styling tweaks to the interior and exterior but the 2022 model is still the same vehicle introduced in 2014. I like the styling of the Passat sold in the European markets. It’s a superior and better looking car than the one we have in the US. VW of America has not only discontinued the Passat for the North American market they have discontinued the Golf for the 2022 model year as well. The only Golf that will be sold in the US will be the 2022 GTI and the Golf R. It’s sad to see both of these cars discontinued. VW of America , like several automakers in the US discontinued several cars to make way for more SUV’s and CUV’s. I am sick and tired of this trend. I like driving a car like having different car models to choose from. Sadly more and more cars are disappearing from US dealerships and are replaced with more SUV’s and CUV’s. To me these models are beginning to look the same and it’s been said for years that Americans prefer a sedan instead of a hatchback. Thus began the demise of hatchbacks being sold in the US in favor of a sedan with a trunk, now we have SUV’s and CUV’s everywhere on American roads. I think to myself if Americans prefer sedans vs a hatchback what do they think a SUV is? An SUV to me is a hatchback on steroids, yes some have AWD or 4WD it still a hatchback.

Hi , very nice car . I love Volkswagen cars. But one question, wheres is this car available? This car now in Europa? And this new model would sold in European or American markets? Or again Volkswagen company didn't want Europeans and americans drive new cars . Only Chinese must have those cars?
