I automatically put any sellable wares and items into a backpack then proceed to barter the backpack. You sell everything in one go and can then buy the empty backpack back for reuse

I can confirm that karmic dice is terrible if you have high AC. I had high AC on 2 characters and every hit that landed from the enemy was a crit. So in 1 round I was getting crit'd multiple times. It sucked.

Shove and Jumping are the exact outside the box type of things really great DMs would allow for in games. Way more fun to dispose enemies in creative ways than having an OP Hexblade warlock, in my opinion.

If you have a character that can cast hand or invisible hand I recommend to have it out at all times. If you get a party member falling asleep etc you can use it to wake up party members as well

And be careful with fire and explosions as these can destroy loots inside chests.

the karmic dice is an eye opener, i've been playing a shadowheart tank build that use radiant orbs to debuff and has a large dex pool for high AC and acrobatics for dodge chance to put it short i dodge everything and anything that does hit does little to no damage. But every once in a while a pack of mobs 1 will roll the same attack roll and deal the same amount of damage for the entire fight until it is killed and it seems to ignore the radiant debuff thought it was a bug or something but after turning the dice off for an entire day haven't run into a single enemy that has done this

Technically, the discount is based on the Persuassion level, so a bard with High Charisma, Proficiency and Expertise on persuassion will probably sell things at a markup and buy things extraordinarily cheap! I think +10 persuassion gives you 67% discount.

I wish backpacks would let you just right click and send contents, instead of whole bag and not realizing it for a while like i did!

I'd like to long rest more, but I have run across more than one article about how long rests can also progress world events, such as the Druid Grove ritual locking down the grove forever. What happens if you long rest too many times before rescuing Halsin, and then the grove is sealed off for good? Just one example.

the shove isnt used often becaus most cliffs also destroy the loot by making it unable to be looted

Letting Volo attempt to remove the parasite will give you permanent see invisibility

The problem with gold is that you can't do much of anything with it
When you finish the game with 50.000 gold, (and you didn't have to spend 20.000 on that special gate opener) you are kinda empty inside.
There should be a mechanic where you can pay blacksmiths and sellers with gold and items and they craft you some crazy equipment.
I'd be willing to pay 50.000 gold on a cloak that grants permanent invisibility

100% if karmic dice is on, you'll watch way more criticals and misses than I have ever seen, definitely leave that option off. The only down side is that with it off you can run into many critical misses and many low rolls in a row (which I still felt with karmic dice, but not critical misses when that is enabled). I definitely suggest reloading the save when you run into these bad luck streaks, you will put 150hrs+ in and ruining quest lines because of bad streaks, I don't care what purists say, I'm not letting that happen, reload the saves.

About the camp supplies thing, what you can do is fill your camp supply bag until you are encumbered, send it to the camp and take a companions bag to start collecting items again. If you spread the food you get collect between them all, you can open up all four camp supply bags and push all items into one bag before sending it off as well to try and maximize space even more.

I like having a backpack for gems/money as well as one for armor/weapons that I keep and one that is for armor/weapons to sell. Once you have too much in the bag, send it off to the chest and next time you come around a shop keep, send one person to camp, grab it out and send it to the character that's going to offload it all.

I say every reaction should be on Ask because sometimes an enemy will run away from you, use your reaction to opportunity and then a wizard casts fireball on your entire team which you couldve prevented with counterspell. reaction is a resource just like action and bonus action, they should never be used automatically and should 100% be an active decision if you want to use it or save it in case of a bigger thing that would need it.

One person reamended off scores for a build and then never takes an ASI. Unless you know you will take an ASI or a feat with 1 stat boost, I much rather have +1 in int, wis or chr rather then 17 str.

I feel like Karmic dice would be bad if you stat vary well. Mostly because if you're rocking 20 armor, they should have under a 40% chance to hit, I Tested by targeting my own in Act one and the base line +3 has a 30ish % chance to hit. So forcing so many misses can end up with the foes getting higher rolls.

I 100% see it leading to taking more damage if you stat well and less hits taken if you stat poorly.

Man that first tip would have come in handy on my first playthru, didnt realize it until damn near the end of the game. Spent most of the game lugging around so many camping supplies, I was always Encumbered

Just rob the vendor send that character back to camp and sell all his items back to them on a different character...but buying stuff is a waste of gold when you have a five finger discount.

Some enemies won't drop their weapons when they die, so using the spells or actions above can net you unique weapons you'd otherwise miss.

Additionally, knocking out a npc generally means more loot will be available to you when looting rather than outright killing them. Specially true for traders.

Bartering bonus scales with Persuasion and vendor reputation not just Charisma.

Another thing about Camp Supplies - If you have multiple of the large camp supply packs that account for a full rest in one item, don't group them into a stack. If you do, game will pick the entire stack with auto select, rather than just 1 out of the pile.

I had a stack of 10 just get gobbled up in 1 rest. I'm not sure if they fixed it, but ever since that point I've always split those large packs just in case.

You should "invest" with Dammon as soon as you meet him. "Sell" for free as much junk as you can to max out your relationship with him and gain the best buy and sell prices. The relationship bonus is permanent and shouldnt decrease unless you do something stupid like attack him. And you can do this with every vendor but I say use Dammin because **spoiler** hes one of the few vendors that you maintain access to the longest and will be available to use in ACT 3. Plus he ends up selling the best AC armor in the game.

These are all amazing tips which I rarely see in the popular bg3 tips videos. About 60 hours in and I've figured almost all these myself. Would've been nice and saved me a ton of I saw em before when I watched multiple watch before you play videos
