I truly appreciate this video. I just turned 20 and my dad is looking at his next rental property and I gave him the idea of owning a truck! Turns out he has friends that are fleet owners! One guy buy his old one for literally $8K with no working electronics but the truck ran and now (5 years later) he owns 3 trucks. Want to do this instead of renting properties! Thank you!
ОтветитьI’m 19 and am really looking to buy a 18 wheeler. Now that you explained how much you make I have one question that worries me. I know I can find a driver but once I have a truck how do I find loads back to back and keep my truck busy and how does it work plz could someone answer. And how do I find jobs to where I make enough to hire a employee and still make a profit for myself
Ответить900$ is nothing considering all the risks! 👎
ОтветитьI'm new to that industry but as an accountant my business sense tells me the key to making that work is keeping the driver happy. Which means the newer the truck , the happier the driver.
ОтветитьEverything you said is a true and accurate. However, you did not mention your overhead expense such as like: office/building note or rent, general liability insurance, workers compensation insurance, employees pay (dispatch, safety, mechanic, accounting, ) employer's income tax liability for employees earnings, registration, highway tax, IFTA, tolls, road taxes for KY, NM, NY, OR, AR.
I do not want to insult you or to be rude but what you mentioned was only net income before overhead expenses. I do not want to even mention federal and state taxes and/or property tax. Needless to say, on the end you are left with 100 to 200 a week per truck if truck doesn't have major break down ($1500 or more).
What payroll software do you use to pay your drivers ? Or do you just cut them a check ? Or you pay them cash.
ОтветитьHey, I like your vlogs and the details you share. I would like to request you to make a video on problems that are frequently faced by truckers in USA and Canada. I would also like you to talk about the impact and sensitivity of those issues and what is the right way to address those issues or overcome those problems.vtrust me it will help a lot of new truckers...thank you
ОтветитьFuck that $900 a week ain't shit
ОтветитьYou are the best man
ОтветитьGreat info. Too much overhead owning a fleet.
ОтветитьWhy do you still drive if you have a fleet of trucks with drivers in them? Just curious I’m new all this
ОтветитьGreat video! Would you be interested in doing an interview?
ОтветитьDamn you not really making nothing coming home with 900 aweek
Ответить900$ a week for a truck payment better be a brand new truck that’s high as hell
ОтветитьSo I can buy 4 semi trucks and have 4 people drive them and get paid 20k a WEEK from 4 trucks. Is that right ? Because that’s what I want to do to
ОтветитьCan you do this with cars too if I’m wanting to literally start with like 20-50k? I really want to start a business and I feel like I could start with like 3 decent 15k cars and lease them out. I ran the numbers and I don’t know if it’s profitable
Can’t you write off the depreciation of your trucks in taxes. Which would make a huge difference when I go to sell the car
The biggest secret in profiting from forex is by getting a verified trader who really understands the market to trade for you while you take zero risk of loosing or blowing your love account.. Inexperience and inconsistency kills a lot of amateur traders hopes.. I personally earn €16,000 every 7 days trading just because someone who understands the market really well is in charge of my trades... ОтветитьLess overhead. The more bread
ОтветитьLove the knowledge brother
Ответить$16-20k yr per year truck
ОтветитьYeah that’s exactly what I’m trying to do is add another truck
Ответитьquestion, where exactly does that 150 maintenance fee come from? also, insurance 350 a week for 1 truck? also just curious bc i'm about to buy a truck.
ОтветитьThe $1,350.00 a week for the driver is that gross? Are you also paying them insurance and other benefits or are you giving them like $1,350 on a 1099 and that’s completely it?
ОтветитьTnx man 👌🏻
ОтветитьHahahahaahh brah brah!!!! Why are you showing that my guy you heard of the IRS????? Stop it we as fleet owner weather 1 or 2 3 4 stop showing this hahaha your crazy as hell my guy
ОтветитьThank you;your information was helpful.
Ответить23k for my insurance 33k truck for truck total 64k, (3 months) 4 payments of 7k completely cover my insurance for the reminder of the policy this allows me to to give a another 5k to the truck note on top of 700 a week truck. Get out of debt as soon as you can. An yeah yeah I heard the what if something happens an my retort is what if it don't.
ОтветитьGreat video bruh. Been lookin for this type of info
ОтветитьOnly $900 per week? That means a repair can wipe off the profits for your month easily
ОтветитьYooo great information ℹ️
Couldn’t find better video than this one 💯
This is bullshit what is the point of driving if you cant scale up
ОтветитьYou got to run your trucking company the Arab way, you got to get around all that bs. Another thing is, ur in Cali. That sucks for bussnies
ОтветитьThank you 🙏
ОтветитьWhat about a dispatcher?
Ответить$10-15k yearly per truck yearly
Ответить$6k weekly you need
ОтветитьRepair costs?
ОтветитьWhat I want to know is are u paying your driver's as w2 or 1099?
ОтветитьThanks for the insight bro.
ОтветитьThree years later dude be like
I sold everything and will spend the next five years trying to not lose what I have left 🤣
My man! You actually answered my questions. New sub!
Ответить1400 ain't enough to deal with the maintenance on a 2nd truck. Obviously contracts will make your gross income go way up. Here's a better scenario.... run your truck with a driver and drive yourself for another company that pays you $70-100k a year that way you don't have to buy an additional truck and you're having money coming in when your truck is down.
2nd scenario. Team drive with your driver local drayage. He/she's home everyday. When he's off you run that shit up for 8 hours. Yall are both home. Double the profit but only need 1 truck.
I know. I know. I'm smart as hell lol jk Hold your applause lol jk
If you did this with additional trucks where u did local drayage with 2 drivers alternating in 1 truck.....bruh
Are there companies that you can rent your semi to or do you find a driver?
Ответить✅
ОтветитьHow is $900 a week worth it risking 6 figures worth of your own and someone else’s money
ОтветитьSimple and good explanation.
ОтветитьIm young, just started learning about the trucking industry. Thank you for this, helps me put into perspective everything!
