Today we learn how to create "Transaction Forms / Pages Dashboard" in an Oracle APEX 20.1 InshaAllah

Application "apex20.1"

a. First we create "Locations | Departments" form
b. Hit "Create Page" button.
c. Hit "Blank Page"
d. Assign "Page Number / Name" from your choice, select "Breadcrumb" from "Breadcrumb" drop down and hit "Next" button.
e. select "Donot associate this page with a navigation menu entry", hit "Next" button.
f. Click "Finish" button.
g. Right Click on "Regions" and hit "Create Region" option, name it
h. Right Click on "Button Bar" and hit "Create Button" option, name it
i. Select "Text with Icon" from "Button Template", "On" "Hot" option, hit "Template Options", select "Left" from "Icon Position" under "Common" and hit
"OK" button, assign "Icon" under "Appearance".
j. Select "Edit" from "Button Position" drop down under "Layout" save and check.
k. Right Click on "Content Body" and select "Create Region" option, name it, select "Interactive Grid" from "Type" drop down.
l. Assign "Table Name"
m. Click on "Attributes" and "On" "Enabled" option under "Edit"
n. Uncheck "Save Button" under "Toolbar"
o. Select "LOCATION_ID" and "On" "Primary Key" option under "Source" save and check.
p. Select "Buttons Container" from "Template" options
q. Select "Button Bar" hit "Template Options", select "No Padding" from "Body Padding", "Remove UI Decoration" under "Style" drop down under "Common",
hit "OK" option.
r. Click on "Processing" tab, select "Locations | Departments - Save Interactive Grid Data", select "SAVE" from "When Button Pressed" under
"Server-side Condition"
s. Right Click on "Content Body" and hit "Create Region" option name it, select "Interactive Grid" from "Type" drop down.
t. Select "DEPARTMENTS" for "Table Name" under "Source" now repeat same process.
u. Click on "Departments | Locations" and select "Locations | Departments" under "Master Region" drop down.
v. "Template" will be "Standard" for both "Interactive Grids"
w. "Primary Key" for "Departments | Locations" will be "DEPARTMENT_ID", "Master Column" is "LOCATION_ID" under "Master Detail" save and check.
