Ответитьhi after removing the yellow tape i saw a clear tape on top of the air hole. I was wondering whether or not to leave the clear tape on as I tried to print with it as is and it still printed blank pages. If anyone can respond that'd be great!
ОтветитьI owe an apology to you because I did leave one of the tabs on the black cartridge.
However, I also shook the cartridges and made sure none of them have any tabs left. And yet none of them are printing now lol
This video did not help at all. All of the tabs were removed from the ink cartridges before installation. And still only the blue ink cartridge is printing. Are there no further things you know that could solve the problem? Because obviously this one “fix” doesn’t solve them all.

ОтветитьI found my WF7620 thrown out in a skip. I took it home and realized the bit of plastic at the back of the head was broken and catching against the screw with the belt. I managed to remove it and the printer got out of the error state. It now has this issue so I'm going to replace the entire head anyway. The scanner works, but needs a replacement if I want to scan anything above A4 because it produces black lines. I've created a custom preset to get around this. I'm fully invested in fixing this printer because its worth too much to throw out.
ОтветитьThis worked for us with alternative ink carts. It turned out that there was no airhole under the yellow tab, so we then pulled off the remaining ink-cart label and found one underneath. Furthermore, we needed to do a print-clean straight after for it work. We're using a WF-2750.

ОтветитьTwo of my epsons use same ink. It worked fine on older printer. I tried new one, and only blue shows. Nothing wrong with cartridges. Ugh. Whyyyyyyyy. So upset. Tried everything and only blue on nozzle check prints. Nothing prints on anything else I do. 🤬

ОтветитьJust bought a used WF 610 it's an older model but does what I need plus more for home use. It is showing ink levels a little low but not enough to matter right now. I get no ink on paper when aligning or test printing. I checked cartridges took them out and shook them a little and put back and still nothing. I have ran the Head Cleaning 3 times and still nothing... any suggestions?

I experienced how terrible and outrageous the service EPSON provides because of the problem of "recognizing a cartridge"! EPSON totally locks my printer and scanner because one ink cartridge cannot be recognized. I normally use the printer and do not find the problem in other cartridges which I bought together with the so-called “unrecognized ink cartridge”. It is unreasonable and nonsense!
I email and call EPSON for a solution but they keep changing staff to handle the problem. They even open 3 case numbers for the same case without providing a concrete solution but keep using “saliva strategy” to shirk responsibility make me feel totally helpless. They overly waste my time for a month with no solution but to demand their customers repeat explaining the case again and again.
I request to replace a new printer since it is within warranty (with warranty invoice attached), but they are unwilling to do so. I provided all essential photos to prove the problem including the control panel error message, ink cartridges, and printer’s serial number. They keep ignoring the problem makes me feel very angry. Finally, a supervisor called RoXXXX made a promise that he would send me new ink cartridge to test the printer to see whether the chip is abrased. If so, he would arrange for a new printer replacement. I have sent all the evidence he required and waiting for his response, and obviously I get NO reply from any of the staff of this bad company after 2 weeks of waiting.
I have already wasted lots of time dealing with this issue which seriously affects my work progress. On the day the problem was found, I work very busily and in hurry to use the scanner, but EPSON totally lock it! There should be no correlation between ink cartridges and scanner but what they threaten me is locking all services and suspending the printer with no sign.
I feel very exhausted and disappointed with EPSON. No such problem is found in other brands like CANON and HP. I feel regret buying EPSON's product with poor service although it is within warranty! I found many clients complaining online about the same problem afterward. Obviously, EPSON makes customers trouble! What an unscrupulous company!
Hi, I have changed the cartridges in my Epson XP-305 with genuine Epson ink, cleaned the nozzles and the heads, but when I printed the results, only the red and black inks showed up, when I printed the nozzle checks there was the top set in black and the three sets below it were in red, no sign of a yellow set or a blue set.! I have cleaned the heads, aligned the heads and cleaned the ink jets three times. What can I do to remedy this please.?

ОтветитьHow do you even get to the ink cartridges???? On my model XP-4100 the ink carts are all the way to the right and I don't have a lid that just lifts up so I can't access them. I'm betting that YOU know the answer. Please illuminate this for me sir!

ОтветитьI found one of these on the side of the road and it seemed to be in perfect shape. However, the printer prints in all colors besides black, and it doesn't appear to print the full strip of magenta on the nozzle check and the print alignment has horizontal streaks of green. Upon inspecting the inside, the metal rails appear to get built up yellow and black residue, though it's not much. Any ideas? Brand new ink (and yes, I removed the tabs).
