I journal, meditate and move my body every day and I am also medicated, but I still experience days when I'm in bed all day due to my depression...I hate that people say these things will solve everything because it's not true...

Red light therapy is a MUST for me. I have an Light Care RX1 light and I always notice a change in my mood when I go for a session. I need to get out into natural light more though. It can get pretty cloudy where I live so it's not always a great option for me.

Personally my non negationables atm are:
- taking a daily shower, or at least washing my face twice a day and my underarms and my feet. I try to use soaps and products that smell nice, because i noticed that if i feel fresh and smell good, my mood does a complete 180.
- try to journal every single day, because i noticed that it really does help me get in touch with my emotions and escape my obsessions. Sadly I'm a person whose very prone to overthinking and spiraling and developing obsessions, so journaling so far has been a lifesaver.

I am so glad you're talking about sunlight. It is so important for our pituitary gland and vitamin D, which mass amount of population has in deficite. People got so caught up in "spf always! Sun is the devil!" While your skin needs a lot of natural light. Just be smart and wear spf in harsh weather

Trying to be more intentional with my non-negotiables. I already have the following in place:
More Water intake (at least 1.5L/day
Meditation/mindfulness
Some form of movement for at least 5 mins
Listen to instrumental music throughout the day

I want to:
Limit screen time
Clean eating

I can actually come up with my two non-negotiable habits…taking a shower or a warm, spiritual bath everyday AND meditating with crystals. I’d been learning more about the 7 chakras, and crystals have a lot of healing properties. So these two things do wonders for my mental health.

This was in my recommended and I'm so glad it was!! I've been in a major funk the last year or so and trying to get back to healthier habits. The Insight Timer app (free with paid upgrades) has been so helpful - highly recommend!!

I hate videos like these…of course when you can afford your own nice condo in a beautiful area you will feel motivated. Try living in a house share in a shitty part of London…I enjoy how unsafe Finsbury Park can be, makes me really want to go for an early morning walk to see trash and vomit on the sidewalks 😂

My everyday non negotiable habits are: going to ballet classes, reading books, going out for coffee every morning, learning a foreign language, listening to long podcasts instead of scrolling on my phone and cooking. However, I must admit I scroll through online stores (even though I don’t buy anything 😅) and also through reels more than I should… will try to work on that ☺️

Hi! I enjoyed your videos. Do you have a link to that red light therapy you use? You have a very healthy outlook on eating! I also believe that every person has a different body system and will handle different foods better but as a RD, have you thought of trying to eat more plant based? “If it ain’t for you, you can always go back”. You can always try doing it for half the week and see how you feel or a month?

Also you seem empathetic, sweet. I would highly suggest looking at Gary Yourofskys speech on Veganism. I have plenty of publications and double blind studies etc to refer you to on the benefits of being plant based (and some of it IS good for your mental health), as well as many other videos I could point you to but it’s 4am and I actually got on here to listen to some sound baths. My non-negotiables are really similar to yours. Movement, time outside, get enough sleep, limit time in front of screens, Talk to at least one family member or friend every day. And go to therapy once a week 😁
