Meet the Adorable Kunekunes of Slow Farm in Cameron, NC

Farm Chats: Meet the adorable Kunekune Pigs and their homestead owner Rachel of "Slow Farm" located in Cameron, North Carolina.

Slow Farm is dedicated to reviving a 150-year-old former tobacco farm through regenerative farming practices. Rachel is passionate about her commitment to working in harmony with nature, the farm avoids chemicals and shortcuts, focusing instead on nurturing the land from the ground up.

Each farm animal on the farm is chosen for its unique abilities to contribute to the land's regeneration, particularly the Kunekune pigs, whose gentle nature and efficient grazing make them ideal for sustainable land management. They were the sweetest to meet during my recent visit to the farm.
