Levy: Did someone say Caro Kann?!
Ответитьthese videos are comforting for some reason
ОтветитьIt would be cool to see you put together a curriculum of openings for ranges of ratings. I'm still struggling around 600-700 and would love to know what would best develop my skills up to 1000-1200.
ОтветитьGut
ОтветитьHikaru and Levy did put various variations of the Advanced Caro Kann in the garbage tier list for, and this is important, beginner players 800-1300. However they put one variation of it in unbreakable so the short and the long of is the Caro Kann good is "it depends" (on a number of factors including player level).
ОтветитьThe Waffle House has found it’s newest host
ОтветитьThese videos are pure gold
ОтветитьI like how he sometimes suddenly starts speaking with a thick accent. I guess his first chess teacher was a Soviet master
ОтветитьHikaru was giving Levy a hard time for using Caro not that it was bad was my understanding of affairs
ОтветитьI love how in chess the more you do it you start to pick up on things that would never accord to you a month prior there's always something new. Ngl tho I think I'm addicted to playing because I can be so angry and say I hate the game then next thing I know I'm in another game haha. Your vids have been the best for helping me improve I'm only 600 but speaks to your teaching ability that I can follow what you're explaining. Honestly you're a god send, since I found this channel I see all sorts of weaknesses against my opponents. I hope to be 1000 next year I know I'll never be a gm or anything but its just fun to learn and improve thanks for the content
Ответить"he moved his Queen 3 times, Pretty ridiculous" That was funny!
Ответитьabout provoking f3 with the bishop, I understand what you mean about provoking weakness, I think the problem with me anyways is seeing why f3 is a weakness. I think that is a high level concept. You say it's a weakness and I have no idea what you're talking about lol. I know it's a weakness when the king has castled, but I don't know the rules about beforehand.
ОтветитьPaid actors Keepo
Ответитьintense russian accent
"Forces queen trade, he very tilted"
lmaoo that was funny
You're an amazing teacher. Thank you!
Ответитьspooky thing. i have just watched this, and literally my next game was against mustafa
Ответитьfun fact: during Carlsen's Banter blitz he was faced with a Danish Gambit and it confused him for a spell, he said it "made me think."
ОтветитьOpponent: "Muahaha, my opponent is using all of his time thinking about my last amazing move. Surely, I will win this game"
Daniel: "Now, chat, this is completely winning but let's take some time to analyze all of the weaknesses in my opponent's position."
These videos are great! Such a great teacher! I hope, the speedruns will eternally restart! Thanks a lot for this!
ОтветитьMustafam bee :) türk adam işte farkını koyuyor tüm taşları bitene kadar terk etmedi oyunu yaa
ОтветитьBut I was lead to believe Caro-Kann was all pawns no hope :(
ОтветитьNobody actually wants to goes to Frankfurt, it's just in the way
ОтветитьThis dude is insanely good at teaching chess. Learned so much from you. Thanks Danya!!!
ОтветитьWait, what is the Frankfurt airport analogy?
ОтветитьDany do an aggressive gameplay speedrun
ОтветитьBlackmar-Diemer is way more common to get accepted at this level than Danish
ОтветитьCan we get the longer video format back?!
ОтветитьThe way you teach is really great, very good descriptions that help me to understand things much better
ОтветитьGood job!
ОтветитьMy god (Daniel) after watching your speed run my rating increased by 1600 to 1850 🙏
ОтветитьThink i know who the dislike was..
ОтветитьIt's just poorly explained, not by tou
ОтветитьLearning or just experimenting with different openings has helped me immensely in learning chess. Learning the ideas and not the lines is the important thing. That’s where the knowledge boosts your chess IQ.
ОтветитьThis series is based.
ОтветитьAfter 2...Nf6 3.Qe2 the correct move was 3...e5! not 3...d5? 2...Nf6! was correct and better than 2...d5?!
ОтветитьI JUST WANT TO SEE A DANISH GAMBIT
ОтветитьHey Danya ive been watching your videos over the last couple of months and i have to say they are always a treat to watch and i get hyped every time. Personally my favorite videos of yours are the collabs with Charlie but your chess "slowrun" was also amazing and i enjoyed every episode i watched. I hope you keep up the content and when im done with all the schoolwork i might even check out your livestreams. Love from germany youre my fav chess player
ОтветитьIf you're reading this, keep up the good work Daniel!
ОтветитьBeginners 100% should not be playing the Danish. Easy wins in the opening don't teach you much about chess. Winning in the short term for its own sake is meaningless if you actually care about improvement.
ОтветитьDanya: no one will try and memprise their way to chess mastery.
Max deutsch: im developing a machine inside my brain to remember the solution to every possible chess position. Where is the world champion?
nice
Ответитьthanks!
ОтветитьThanks Daniel for the Speedruns, you helped me to improve really fast in chess.
ОтветитьEloquence on a GM makes for the best chess teacher hands down. The chess community is lucky to have a guy like Daniel streaming and teaching.
