Hi , guys 👋 an app called "aod notify" solves All our problems. I had forgotten it was on my phone lol. Wondered why my front camera wasn't glowing When i got notification and until i read it without using much batt battery at all. Free to download. This is a very old video and explains greatly how to use the lovely looking effects, but here's the solution if ppl are Still looking for a way to have basically your little friend (notification light) back on Samsung galaxy s21.👍. it's just one time notification and it's not a persist one like physical LED which blink until you red the notification. in this option is just notify one time !!!

Hi, but how about the start/off power led? It used to blink when there was a notification, how about now?

I followed the directions...tried it several times...turned off the phone and back on: I can NEVER get the edge lighting to come on when I receive a text. It comes on when I'm in "Brief pop-up settings" but it's like there needs to be a "Save" button or something. This feature just doesn't work on my phone for some reason.

On mine I don't get any message notifications or missing calls on the status bar. Why is that? I always need to check my message app and see if I got new messages.

My S21 ultra use to have a lighting flash around the front camera when i use a face recognition to unlock my phone,but lately i paid attention that this nice effect round flash simply missing. It's ridiculous that Samsung got rid of their notification light. You have no way of knowing if you have a missed call or anything other notification, if your phone is charging, etc. unless you wake your phone up. The Edge light could be a good alternative, but they should have an option where it stays on until you clear the notification.

Very disappointed with the notification indicator. We are so use to the notification where it indicates the number of messages or calls received until it is read or seen. I would never have bought this phone if I knew this feature was not there. It's annoying because every little while you have to go & see whether you have received a message or call. Those pop-ups are annoying.

So what? Who needs the quick light when the message comes, who cares how pretty it is. I’m working or driving, my phone is off, I need to see if any messages came in while I wasnkt looking at my phone. The idea to remove a led indicator was STUPID, I miss my Samsung 9. Also removing jack for the headphones is NOT helping either for my business.

Lame that there's no way to have notification reminders blink / appear after the initial 3 second alert.

ben using s7 since 16, just upgrade s21, and my draw back is that notification light. s7 has a led that blinks if you have unread or unnoticed message. green for sms and blue for app messenger from fb,insta, skype we chat etc. now they don't have that. so you have to open your phone from time to time to check it manually.

LED Me Know works indefinitely, it doesn't stop after 3 blinks

When my a42 is off my WhatsApp messages don't pop up it never switches on. I have to open my mobile to see if there's any messages

How can the notification continue to blink during screen off till msg is read or attended like the past models ? Without us have to turn on the screen to view if there is missing msg or call.
