Ответитьu gotta go deeper bro. have u learned nothing from samson? missing on gains fr
ОтветитьSpitting some knowledge in this one 💯💯💯
ОтветитьHey Sam, that talk about trying to find your own way at the end really got to me.
I’m currently in my last year of Highschool and I just don’t know what the hell I am going to do now.
All my life, there was this path outlined in front of me and now…I’m struggling to find a way for me in all these options.
It kind of showed me how little I know about me and my desires in what I want to do in life, because I just can’t see myself in any possible career path, it is kind of like this system isn’t meant for me.
It also adds up that now I realize that I really have to take responsibility for myself, which kind of made me realize that I really am „all on my own“ in this world.
It is kind of like a quarter life crisis.
I guess I will just have to try and try again to find something that will work for me but I’m scared that I just won’t find that.
Talk about progressive overload.. 😭
Ответитьif you can't work from a place of self love you could always try working from a place of gratitude. gratitude you GET to do your workout, for the weights you're using, for every little thing. it's surprising how much better it makes you feel.
ОтветитьLmao my man does the easiest workouts of all time. Calls it a day. And somehow has 3M followers lmao people are sheep
ОтветитьI made $2000 today. How much did you make?
Ответитьsam piana
ОтветитьI would say a huge part of my discipline for hard work and working long hours has come from my highschool and college years of lifting. Not being in a sport but I did take body building and powerlifting on and loved it. The work ethic and hard work I did in the gym helped shape me to be the father that I am today. My dad was wasn’t really there so I had to learn how to be a man by pushing myself hard in the gym and lifting hard as fuck. I lifted with people who were bigger and stronger than me always and it helped me a ton learn from the old heads in the gym.
That’s a huge thing you’ll realize later on Sam is when you do become a dad, your consistency and life skills you are currently building will be needed when you get older, you’ll remember it when you’re super underslept and working long hours. Days become long with little to no sleep as a parent but are worth it. You’ll remember the hard sets you put yourself through and realize you can make it through anything. At times it’ll be more emotional, more personal and different things to learn from. But being a dad is the greatest gift to receive.
My daughter loves being in the gym with me and my wife, she loves picking up the plates since she was small. Always seen me lift in our home gym so it’s just rubbing off good healthy habits onto them since they are born but not pushing them to do things. It’ll make them realize and think when they are older like damn my dad is strong as fuck. Especially if you have a little girl. She learns everything from you to look for in a man and a son will look how to overcome life as man and hardships ect
Correct me if I’m wrong but does Sam do chest only one day ( in this video 3 workouts) and that’s it or does he work other areas as well and just uploads it as a different video?
ОтветитьSam, Today’s chest day and I’m on the bike watching this, I got pretty tired quick and I was feeling discouraged. I’m trying to add more fly based movements in my lift but it usually put it off cuz I’m not super comfortable yet but this vid has comepletely inspired me to go hit it after cardio is done, thanks bro you’ve helped me so much
Ответить5 years ago my dad told me it’s time to start going to the gym. I told him I didn’t feel like it. He told me “Ethan, I want you to be able to play with your grandkids.” And that rocked me to my core. In the first year I lost 120 lbs. I’m now 5 years in and the gym is one of my biggest passions in life and I can’t imagine where I’d be without it. Sometimes you just have to find your why.
ОтветитьOn an off day Sam Sulek only moves one mountain rather than his standard two mountains
ОтветитьAt the beginning with 115 🙏😵
Ответитьcant get enough of that intro
ОтветитьIm sorry, after mikeys injury im avoiding going heavy on incline or flat bench press-its not worth it considering the risk involved.
theres no need to do 1 rep maxes if youre not a powerlifter, bodybuilders focus on form and high reps over weight.
Real
ОтветитьLike the comments on motivation. It's not an active thing. It's not an active bargaining with yourself thing. The more deals and conditions and tricks you have for "motivation," the more you undermine it. You just do it. The second it becomes conscious, you are headed down the wrong path because you're looking for reasons TO do something, which means your mindset is not to do it.
ОтветитьNothing really changes on this kid. He just gets bigger and smaller. Nothing new though! Too limited in gym imo.
Ответитьday 191 of commenting until sam responds
ОтветитьHi Sam (and others),
Hopefully you read comments on old videos. I'm a little late to the party.
I'm always struck when you talk about the psychological, philosophical or spiritual because of the ways that your thoughts seem to mirror my own. I don't comment on many videos in general, but I suppose if you ask, you shall receive.
I'm a little younger than you and I think I've been going through the realisation that you talked about at the end of the video for the last year. As someone who excelled at doing things that external forces told me to do (parents and society), I think I'm finding it especially difficult to find my own way.
In my opinion, the struggle to recognise and eventually harness one's autonomy is becoming increasingly possible, and yet, increasingly difficult. Increasingly possible because of people like you that serve as inspiration to people about what they can direct their resources - time and energy - into, whereas in the past, such awareness of the ability to do what one decides did not exist: I will be blacksmith because my father is a blacksmith. Increasingly difficult because of people like you that create content that people can consume to avoid facing the reality of their autonomy, and as societal expectations compound based on the sheer number of people that a person can now compare themselves to.
Obviously, this isn't a criticism of the content that you produce, but an observation of the double-edged sword that is most (if not all) elements of reality. You can use content to grow, or you can be used by content that controls you to watch it. You can use the possibility of your autonomy to build whatever life you want, or you can be used by that possibility and live in fear of it.
I hope to be able to use the sword of my autonomy to help others do the same. Maybe one day, the idea of 'use or be used', amongst many other ideas I have will be shared in content I plan to produce (not on lipalm111). But in order to do so, I have to overcome the reality of autonomy: it's up to me.
Thanks for making me think about the things I have to do. All I have to do now is do them.
HES A MONSTER DEAR GOD
ОтветитьSam cut all your hair off
ОтветитьWhen I first started college, I realized I simply have to sleep and wake up early. Otherwise there is no way I can study, prepare food and go to the gym in one day
ОтветитьIs there a reason that he doesn't take the bar all the way down on incline bench?
ОтветитьWhat you said towards the end of the video had pretty much formulated what I had been thinking over the last few months into words. I feel I've been too complacent, too with the flow. Im glad I was able to stumble across this video, I will be taking the wheel from now, thank you Sam for helping me realise.
ОтветитьWorking out to Scorpions right on!
ОтветитьI love a rainy day in the car. As long as I’m watching someone else do it and I’m not in the car 😂
ОтветитьCrazy strong today. These 315 on a incline bench were flying. Such a consistency and good work ethic. Keep it up man. :)
