How to get good at Street Fighter 6: just use modern controls and experiment. You'll be good enough to beat Justin consistently in no time.

Really struggling with the transition to SF6, 4 and 5 seemed much easier in comparison. Hopefully I can apply some of this as I figure out the best character to play with this new play style.

What an exceptional guide... No fillers or over-hyping. Great examples & explanations of system facts directly from The Fundamental Gawd himself.

I'm from the SF2 generation and never really got into SF3. I played SF4 and a bit of SF5 but now with SF6 it seems even more complicated. I'll get around to buying it but with a lot of games these days finding the time to sit down and learn the ins and outs to make the most of it is the off putting part. Having a young family obviously plays a big factor in that. Great vid tho 👌

one of my biggest issues when learning how to play SF5 (Tekken 5 also, and MKX) was losing, i hated it, but you have to learn to take these losses and improve, being patient is a big thing in these games, especially when going online and playing against super sweaty dudes who play the game like its their main job in life, you're going to lose a lot, but eventually if you keep playing games you'll start winning some, and that is when it starts to become satisfying.

It's easy, turn the fucking game off and go outside. Go to the gym, take a class to learn a new skill, get a side hustle. Now you own everyone still playing 👍🏽💪🏾🍆

My first street fighter game, the hardest thing for me is combining multiple quarter circles together specially ones that require like three of them like cancelling into super. I don't want to use Modern controls so that is not an option for me. Anyone have any tips there ?

To differentiate between drive rush and drive cancel:
drive rush is the one you need to press parry that you do in the neutral game and costs 1 bar,
drive cancel is when you cancel(inside a combo) into double tap forward and costs 3 bars.

I would always unknowingly use both my Drive Rush attacks at once . It would do significant damage but I hated not being able to control it more. After seeing this video I learned how to use only half my drive gadge and safe the other half. Thanks Justin 😎

The drive rush does not pay off in stamina damage. Perhaps 2 gauges instead of 3 and or just make that "Hit" harder

Thanks for taking the time to explain why... I am NOT going to hardly play Street Fighter PvP. I've always bought the games for the Single Player, like with MK. I like Tekken better, for it's more varied fighting styles, and less fireball gimmicks.
