The 46+ mph speed was fantastic for getting lots of beak thing eggs and an easy 100,000c. or more - Many thanks for all of the helpful tips you commented on individual strategies! - What else do you people use to cheese the game mechanics - for getting cats or stats fast?

Hit space to pause, hold left shift and right click the mouse to set waypoints, do this for 30 clicks and just leave your dude to run back and forth between two points. This really helps take a bit of the edge off of strength training.

I know it's been 3 years but for those interested dodge does almost nothing if you have a weapon on hand.

You can only dodge when you are unarmed or if you are staggered from a hit. So having high dodge sometimes can help character with a weapon, but you gotta train it by being unarmed and getting hit, so it may take even more time only to dodge when you are already hit

I read on the wiki that goats had to be nerfed because they used to take on whole camps of bandits and win.

I love the Zomboid stuff, but d*mn is this Kenshi sh*t hilarious! I can't keep laughing like this at work :P Between those two games, gold! Love both of them myself.

There would be something almost religious if Torsolo went back to save Logan. Logan abandoned Torsolo to die and ran off, only to be captured and enslaved. Meanwhile, Torsolo's early travels were saved by things that were nigh-on divine intervention. To end the story saving the one that left him to die at the start... Saint-like.

This Torsolo experience is fucking awesome

My guy can run at 44mph, can melee combat in ways that are unbeatable in damage output and skill.
One single weapon type has any chance of evening the field, Crossbows. Which also are useless in melee range, which one can easily get to with 44mph.
If said weapons didnt exist, there'd be no way at all to stop high skill melee weapons.

You should do a Dora the Explorer playthrough, where you have 1 armless guy with legs, 1 legless guy with arms, and one lady named Dora. Name the leg guy "boots", name the arm guy "backpack" and have dora carry him around like one, and just see what you can do to keep them all alive. You lose if any one of them dies, you lose if boots loses a leg and can no longer wear boots, and you win once Dora finds every single location on the map. The way you kept hauling that dead guy around and calling him a backpack made me think of this.

This sure was a long journey, from crawling in the middle of the desert from town to town for days to crossing the entire map in a few days.
