4” inch thick garage floor that would not be code in CA on my garage floor I’m at 5’ foot footers with a 12” thigh base and 3” stem wall.

How much did this cost

The problem I’d have with a garage like this is that my family would never see me. I’d emerge every 30 days looking like Tom Hanks in Cast Away and smelling like BO, tub o towels, and Rotella T6.

The problem with these extremely large metal afterthought garages installed in yards that looks completely out of proportion is that it upsets the nature of the Aesthetics of the property and original home architecture.. .

Beautiful job, but a question: Why did you wait until the building was finished to pour the floor? Wouldn't it have been easier to just back the truck up to the building and then pour it directly before the roof trusses were installed?
