Try it with 3 wraps I’ve seen tests showing it works just as good.
ОтветитьThxs for the video and comments by everybody.
Good knot I ve been using since years ago, I do not know for very big fish if its the best or not but until 30-40lb fish I trust on it so far.
I was using 4 lb flouro, and my line kept snapping at the hook. Ever since I used this knot technique and adjust my drag I don’t get line snaps unless they swam down stream
ОтветитьSo trilene invented this knot? Surely someone had to have done this before trilone did
ОтветитьI HOPE YOU DONT SLOW AS YOU AGE.
ОтветитьThese are the best hooks you can buy. My wife caught this bass using them. We use the hooks with Yamamoto Senko baits with O-Rings. Excellent product.
ОтветитьWhat situation would call for this knot versus, say, a uni knot?
ОтветитьGreat instructional video, thanks for posting.
ОтветитьAnd I use 9 twists for braid never failed me!!!!!
ОтветитьWas not used in knot wars they use only one loop cause it is the strongest knots but I use 7 twists!!!
ОтветитьThiis knot is traditionally and correctly called a Blood Knot on the Bight and is a lot stronger if you snug it down by pulling the tag end slowly fairing it as you work rather than the mainline which can cause the line to burn and stretch within the knot. Otherwise a good video and well presented.
ОтветитьUse this knot for sharks. If 300 lb. + line can hold this, then it's the best knot period.
ОтветитьYou make these so easy to follow, thank you! I generally suck at knots and it takes me a long while to learn just the one but these were filmed so well I managed to learn 3 from you ezpz!
ОтветитьThe way I learned it was after tag end goes through the loops you bring it back through the new loop then pull
ОтветитьAKA the improved clinch knot.
ОтветитьThe only knot I use
ОтветитьNever had one fail me.
ОтветитьAlways use this knot on expensive lures 👌
ОтветитьDo you suggest a knot for 2lb fluorocarbon? Tying a knot with 50-lb always looks easy
ОтветитьTrilene, uni are good knots. But palomar is by far the easiest and strongest in my opinion most of the time.
ОтветитьI also add 1 drop of super glue to make it 50% more stronger.
ОтветитьLost a massive fish cause I was rushing. I tied a clench knot where normally I'd tie a triline and broke off at the knot. I wasnt very happy
ОтветитьMakes me think of a half blood knot mixed with a fish'n fool
ОтветитьNo intro, no life story, the name of the knot is in the title and thumbnail! That earned a sub. Good job, mate. 😎
ОтветитьI wish all knot videos were this awesome and clean !👍
ОтветитьThis knot can slip with some lines, even smaller diameter mono.
ОтветитьThe only thing I do different is that I have a 2/4 with a 8 penny common that I drive about 2/3 of it in the 2/4 . That way I can take that hook put it around the nail and give that knot a good tight cinch before I trim the tag end .
ОтветитьHaving the cut off at the hook end is no good. The fishy will bump its nose on it and get a fright 🐠
ОтветитьLol I just tried this and pulled on it when I was done and it just pulled apart
ОтветитьI hope I did that right... I'm terrible with knots 😂
ОтветитьIt's not the best. On 60 pound line, it is only about 70 percent. The San Diego knot is up 90 percent and higher. My knot is 100 percent knot, because the line will brakes before the knot. Two years I was up 92 pounds on 60 pound test line.
ОтветитьPass it back through the top loop for an improved knot!!!
ОтветитьBeen my go to for 40 years, super durable/reliable! Well done video.
ОтветитьLearned as a kid. Works good
Ответитьperfect. 2min - just enough time. thick line easy to see. also ive been tying this know since i was 12, saw in an old fishing book or on the first mepps i bought
ОтветитьGreat video! easy to learn thank you
ОтветитьThat's just about the same knot I use and I appreciate you for the extra tips have a great day..
Ответитьi love that the video starts right off the bat. no dragged on intro, just helpful information. nice one!
ОтветитьThanks man I have absolutely NO idea how to tie my baits up. This helps and so many more videos help too!
ОтветитьOh, you mean the Improved Clinch Knot....yeah, Berkley renamed it when they thought no one was looking.
ОтветитьJust amazing people don't understand what " mono" actually means. Fluorocarbon is mono as well, same as nylon.
ОтветитьSo it’s basically an improved improved cinch knot? I’ll give it a try, though I rarely have a cinch knot fail, and it usually breaks off from some line damage
ОтветитьBeen using this knot for 30 plus years. I seen it on the back of Trilene box and thought I’ll try this and it’s been my knot ever since that day
ОтветитьIve also used it for braid to swivel connections for years with great results, never slips and very strong.
ОтветитьWhen you say you like to is that the actual steps or is it just your preference
ОтветитьOMG I’ve been watching videos for 3 hours and didn’t understand any of the videos this video was awesome
ОтветитьПолный геморой, при затяжки узла портится плетёнка, плохой способ
ОтветитьThis knot is very strong and similar to palomar... I've been strength testing lots of different knots and this 1 took first place and palomar took 2nd
ОтветитьThis is the knot I learned as a young boy & have been using it for 50 + years , never had an issue where the knot failed…
ОтветитьThanks Awesome knot 👍👍
