ОтветитьMyself I'm Finnish and very eager to learn Japanese, it's actually funny that since I have a smartphone with physical keypad, I have to rely on similar typing system as Microsoft IME as I'm typing Romaji, it still converts it into hiragana, and with spacebar I can choose the katakana or kanji, corresponding to the hiragana I have spelled on a normal QWERTY keyboard. And quoting to your Japanese typing on PC, for me MS IME works just fine, only thing I do dislike is that I have to go through every potential kanji/kanji combination. On my old Fujitsu Lifebook the shortcuts DID work on Adobe Photoshop and Wondershare Filmora (oh man, the editor I literally hated from the bottom of my heart), but on my current system, yes if I have the MS IME instead of the ENG-FIS (English language keyboard - Finnish and Sami ISO layout). In fact, sometimes it's very problematic typing Japanese on ISO keyboard, such as my laptop, because the MS IME was designed for ANSI layout. Something I noticed at least on some of the MacBooks in Japan, are you also writing individual hiragana and convert it into the desired form?
Well, keep up Yuta-kun! You just earned a subscriber!
I'm still just learning Japanese myself and found Duolingo to be a big help, especially with learning Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. I've also seen your previous video about how to type in Japanese so I installed the Google IME Japanese keyboard software and I run into that problem way too often that I can't find the Kanji that I'm looking for. It really shouldn't be too difficult to show all of the Kanji options instead of only showing the most used or most popular options. It's very annoying. I don't know who else to work around that? what I usually end up doing is looking up the Kanji character I need on an online Kanji dictionary and copy and pasting it into the message I want to send. Is there a more efficient work around than having to look up rare Kanji in a dictionary to copy and paste as needed?
ОтветитьI use the romanji keyboard, so I write with normally letters and it's auto translated to Hiragana so I press space and switch to Kanji or Katakana.
