Third person horror and stealth games don't count in my book it's clear gears of war franchise is the best third person shooter game of all time.

If we are just looking at how games operate and perform as shooters technically all the games should be from recent years, or need a different list for each generation.
Mass Effect Andromeda for all its hate is by far superior to the majority if not all first person shooters... but especially better than ME2

Finally Syphon Finter gets the regognition it deserves.

Resident Evil 6 is the 2nd best 3rd person action game I've ever played. I love the combination of martial arts and gunplay along with creative ways you can kill zombies. Max Payne 3 is the only one that topped it.

Even for a video that was uploaded in 2015, Dead Space 2 nor Resident Evil 4 should have never been on this list. They are a survival horror games played from a third person perspective, not third person shooters.
