Literally this year when I was in the ER, I watched a guy die in the waiting room.
He couldn't breathe. Those separations had him and his wife unable to speak unless she was standing.
She checked on him and he wasn't responding and had no pulse. The automatic door kept closing on his body.
My dad is 6'1 and a former maintenance guy, and he knew how to stop and break the door down so they had they whole width of the door. His wife and I kept looking at each other, and I tried to look supportive and and kept looking to me as if you ask me a question, I just kept nodding and we placed our hands' near each other on the wall.
Than man had been without a pulse for at least 20-30 minutes. He suffocated silently in a busy ER, suffering.
