Yes yes of course it was terrifying and I am sure that the dispatcher and the first responders did a amazing job as we learned through the news media and listening over the police scanner but on the other hand after this was all over with Las Vegas metro police decided to go full encryption on their primary channels not just their tactical lens watch channels now this guy up in Mandalay Bay wasn’t even proven if he had a scanner radio listening to metro police if it was they sure didn’t mention it so although everything was tragic that what happened course prayers and thoughts go out to everyone involved and who were murdered but we need transparency Las Vegas metro police went silent with their total encryption and not letting the news media in the general public know what’s going on in the city do you have to get tweets and briefings to find out what’s going on in Las Vegas nowadays you can’t even find out what’s going on in your own city where there are plenty of people moving in, plenty of people moving into the city that EVAN plus the Oakland Raiders moving there bringing more crime into the valley but yet, Las Vegas metro police decided to lock down their primary dispatch channels were normal no biting citizens can just listen to the scanner traffic while they could have kept their tactical channels as white channels all encrypted they need to D encrypt their primary dispatch channels so people can hear what’s going on and have transparency at Las Vegas metro police

Officers report 2-3 shooters firing from different locations.

Dispatchers state they have received multiple calls about an active shooter at the NY NY, Tropicana, Excalibur, Paris, Bellagio, and Caesar’s. When officers arrived at the NY NY, Tropicana, and Excalibur, they reported all was calm, no injuries, and no sign of a shooter. Whoever called into 9-11, was placing a diversion.

It’s unknown what the situation was like at the Paris. An officer reports witnesses to a gunman at the Bellagio and Caesar’s, as well as local security attempting to locate a gunman.

FBI bomb squad arrives at the Luxor to investigate a suspicious black Audi with visible wires protruding from the vehicle.

Let’s not forget the fact that officers said there were two confirmed shooting scenes with multiple casualties - one at Mandalay, and one near the Motel 6 at Giles/Alibaba.

These officers are heros the dispatcher did a great job. The dispatcher was clam even when the officers were screaming. Keeping the officers clam these are true heros

My cousin I guess knew the sister of someone who was nearly paralyzed in this and they are now permanently blind. Continued prayers to the family and all others who were affected by this horrific attack 💜🙏💜

The divertion calls were from guests of casinos panicking over shot peds from the music festival screaming for help flooding their casinos, the callers assumed they were shot in their casinos promting these multiple misunderstood divertion calls, unable to confirm visually by that casino security drew red flags, not passing down descriptions of potential shooters caused much chain of command confusion, 1st responders placing themselves in the direct line of fire was beyond careless, the radio was flooded with sound confirmation the shooting was descending from one of the MB towers facing the festival, what kind of educated cop parks directly in a firing range!?! MB was not evacuated immediately starting on the casino floor, no access was blocked immediately to prevent access to the direct line of fire, who ever assumed command should have been investage by fbi suggesting criminal content by not securing a known public endangered zone

So many reports of shots coming from "halfway up" Mandalay Bay. The 32nd floor is more than halfway by a good margin, correct? I've heard body cam recordings of officers talking about seeing people on fucking zip lines. I've SEEN footage of someone running on the roof of the Tropicana. I've heard about active shooters at the airport and New York New York... So how was this a "lone gunman"?? I have the answer. I believe this man had a teleportation device... Just kidding, he was probably a time traveler.

Just crazy!! I can only imagine those poor people below & the police officers charging into the fight. I was an officer for 17 yrs & I would've run into the fight to try and draw the fire away from those innocent people but I won't lie I would hope my training would take over so I wouldn't b so scared but damn this would've been very scary but we r paid by the citizens to protect them & take the fire and give up r lives to protect them!! No if and or but. U give ur life to protect the innocent!!
