I own a Tama superstar drum set, and i recently purchased the only Tama 8" tom that was matching my set.
But it's original wrapping was stripped, and the drum was painted blue, and my drum is with original black wrap.
I searched everywhere and couldn't find a matching color.
Wrote an email to Tama europe, no success, wrote an email to Drumeo, in hopes they could help me out, with a contact email address from Tama drums, no success.
Can anyone from the community help me out ?
TAMA my family, since 1977 , i play TAMA drums , always on the top !
ОтветитьNow they exploite 150 People in China !
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful video.
ОтветитьWhy did a Great Japanese brand do business with china? The should close that factory and bring it all back to Japan. I wont be buying Tama in the future. Until Tama brings all drum manufacturering back to Japan. Boycott china !
ОтветитьBellísimas suenan bien padre saludos desde Medio
ОтветитьВсе решают руки и ноги.
ОтветитьHope, that they have a good atmosphere there without stress and social credit system
ОтветитьVERY nice! I love Tama Drums.
ОтветитьWow,i was first thinking, that my Imperial Star Drum Kit was produced in a 1$ store, but this video showed me,that they are also amazing at producing and working on Drum Kits.
ОтветитьI was under the impression that The Japanese star classics had the decal and the Chinese drums had the badge?
ОтветитьLiving in China must suck, I couldn’t imagine being there for eight years
ОтветитьDrums made in China and Taiwan are excellent. No complaints and I own USA drums too. All good stuff that I own.
ОтветитьI won't be buying China made drums. Sad, Tama was once excellent. Sold out.
Ответитьバカみたい、日本で造ってこそtama drumなんだよ。
ОтветитьTAMA for life!
ОтветитьIt makes sense to have a factory in China. With the world population and Tama being so famous in the drum world, you need a second factory to fulfill the supply demand out there.
ОтветитьPeople saying they want american made drums not knowing they where made by mexicans 😂
ОтветитьI recently acquired a Superstar Classic kit with all maple shells and was pleasantly surprised at how good they sound. Build quality, while not as good as the Japan made Starclassics I owned, was still pretty darn good, especially for a sub-$1000 kit.
ОтветитьThanks for a great product Tama
Ответитьhope they don't put made in china on their product
ОтветитьMy first Tama kit is a Coctail Jam Kit (Silverstar birch shells, made in the China Factory of Tama). The quality of the shells and the hardware (but even the way of packaging) is simply amazing. They really take care of every little details- there is not a single spot on the whole kit which I couldn't watch with anything, but satisfaction. I just payed for that kit, but Tama was the one who bought me with it :)
ОтветитьI'll be buying American made drums. Sorry Tama....
ОтветитьQue tipo de madera usan que se dobla tan facil?
ОтветитьI bought a starclassic 8×14 snare B/B it was a custom order didnt know it was made in china i paid a big chunk for it. When it arrived i played it and it was just amazing im so happy and i would by this snare again. When i found out it was chinese i almost sent it back without trying it, im so glad i gave it the chance its without a doubt a quality piece.
ОтветитьTo all the fantastic and wonderful hard workers of Tama China!. I love my Tama Starclassic B/B kit and I appreciate all of your excellent work!...
From California USA...I Thank you!.
☺😊😄😀❤
O Love Tama but not only Tama but everything that are made in China are not in my list 🙏
ОтветитьI got my tama sc bubinga 24×18 dassdrum 3 days ago. Great work. Great sound. Thank you so much for your work and passion. 👍
ОтветитьTama is best
ОтветитьAre Tama Octobans made in China or Japan?
Ответитьwhat kits are still made in America?
Ответитьwhen do they build them in America?
ОтветитьAnd Tama drums are so overpriced in China, while they are produced locally, a shame.
ОтветитьJust recently took ownership of the new cocktail jam kit built in the Chinese factory. If you put aside the fact that it looks gimmicky, the quality of the birch shells and all of the hardware are absolutely on par with the most top of the line stuff I've seen coming from their Japanese factory. And that is not taking into account that little kit being a tight, punchy, fun, studio and road Worthy companion. Tama for life. No issues with a second factory in China, this has allowed great high end products to be sold at a low end price. Also... Chinese are people too, with homes, and cars, and families, and dreams, just like any other human. It takes jobs to reach goals.
ОтветитьYea anything with tamas name is a great drum I wonder if the wood is also imported from Japan as well
Ответитьbeen using TAMA drums and hardware for a few years now... couldn't be happier! Such attention to detail! Just want to say BIG Thank you, and keep up the good work!!
ОтветитьProps for showing your japanese AND your chinese factory! It is also a sign of respect and trust for the (intelligence of the) customers. They know that we know that all the companies produce in china.. so why not show that they have the best facility in china, right?
Also I think chinese people deserve respect for their work and as far as i can tell they are doing great. Good for them that they found a nice job there.
And btw it is not Tamas fault that our economic environment is so bad that people in Japan, Europe or North-American can´t even afford their own stuff...
Hmmmm hmmmmm hmmmmm they got some honeys working at the Tama factory!!!!
ОтветитьTama made in china is as good as japan the quality is of very high standard, I have Tama silverstar kit made in china it exceeds all expectations. Sound finish hardware all are top quality, haters will say buy made in USA kits but for their information apple iPhone is also assembled in china and it sells like hot dogs all over the world. Time is up for USA dominance in global manufacturing china has taken the lead role. Take it or leave it !
ОтветитьI like TAMA made in Japan
ОтветитьSo how do the Japanese and Chinese workers communicate at the factory ?
ОтветитьBeing a long time Tama and Vintage Ludwig guy I must say I was a little apprehensive when I was considering my next kit when I learned they had moved production to China. I was considering DW or Tama. I read many reviews and based on those reviews I settled on Tama Star Classic BB but I had to play them vs other kits before I would make my final decision. I did and I must say I was blown away by the Star Classic BBs sound, extreme punch with a very nice rich, deep tone, for me the best sounding kit I have played and inspecting them the quality was impeccable, just like my Japan Tama's… My decision was made. My order was also nonstandard, 5 pc plus extra kick and extra mounted in the Ice Blue Pearl wrap….I received the drums 3 weeks early and their overall quality is excellent, the exact same quality I have seen with my Tama Japan drums. There is no doubt in my mind that Tama is doing exactly what is said in this video, they are holding to the same construction standards and the production is being overseen very carefully by Tama management. You can also see the personal pride taken by the workers at this factory and with what I am seeing, playing and hearing I believe it. Trust me they are top quality… I’m writing this in hopes that it will help others that have the same questions I had.
Ответитьexcellent !!! Tama China is on top of the world; i would buy from them any day
ОтветитьBuy a Ludwig or DW or Gretsch made by an American for sometimes less than what a communist Chinese drum costs.
American made kits almost always have a higher resale value.
Tama drums built by Communists no thanks.
