Saw it decades ago.
Jean Reno and then little Natalie Portman
did a great job.
That is what I like about this film.
Luc Besson did some good films,
like Big Blue, Taxi...
Definitely respectful director.
But something aobut some of his films, like this one,
just ain't right. Can't put my finger on it.
Too pretentious script? Don't sure.
Like the script is...overdone.

This is the copy of Bollywood Bicchu movie....

Then says come back in a month’s time!?? What!?? 100 bux to live off for a month!??

I was 12 then and from UK but can someone say wether or not that was a lot of money then or not???? Certainly not sustainable surely???

Honestly, one of the greatest action thrillers ever made. Borderline masterpiece.

Only downside of this movie, imo is Natalie's Mathilda character kept trying to 'get with' Leon (grown man). Other than that, pretty solid and loved the performances by Gary Oldman and Jean Reno

Aside from Die Hard, Speed, Leon is the greatest action picture.., a true masterpiece
