Thank you for your wunderful examples. What helped me mostly was repeating part of sentence I didn't get: "We had a terrific (or terrible?) weekend in LA - What was so special in LA?" or "The IRS asked me to hand in the 1040NR - What stands 1040NR for?"

When non norwegian tries to learn norwegian i tell them, make your language simple. Dont have world like Du, dere (you) as last word, tonal is vital for the sentence. Ex, Dere gjøre en flott jobb, dere. Translatet. you do a great job, you.... Tonal is vital in that sentence
