God's commandment is for His people to keep the sabbath holy. Jesus did not come to abolish the law, not even by fulfilling it. The command stands unchanged, full of significance and blessing for those who enter in.

this is so sad... you guys have fully mislead people here... the Sabbath still stands today... it is the 4th commandment of Gods on law... no where in scripture does it portray that the Sabbath is not to be upheld or has been done away with, it is still a reequipment today of Gods true people... the only law nailed to the cross was the sacrificial law, hence the Messiah became the sacrificial lamb, so no longer do we need to follow the sacrificial laws, we simply can receive forgiveness in the Name of our Christ as he was the lamb slain for the world... however, the Law of God, the ten commandments still remains... "till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. " .... The Sabbath is a blessing, and as mentioned many times in scriptures it is a sign between him and his people... The Sabbath is a Saturday, not a Sunday, Christians influenced by paganism think Sunday is the sabbath today... hence why man today try to debunk the Sabbath, but God changes not, his Sabbath remains... shame on these guys for attempting to belittle the Sabbath as something that is no longer required... I find its only due to selfish worldly commitments that many cant and refuse to keep the true Sabbath, they would rather embrace Sunday the pagan day of worship... I believe that if mankind truly wish to seek Gods truths that his Spirit will reveal to them how important the true Sabbath is... IF you simply use common sense ask yourself this, all scripture was written by man, but the Ten Commandments was written with Gods own finger, why would it be done away with, it is not, the true Sabbath remains, a holy day, a day of worship, the 7th day... not the first day of the week a Sunday... wake up people... its so obvious, don't let your own selfish life stop you keeping the true day of worship... stop looking for loop holes as alike the guys in this video... its say simple....The Sabbath is a blessing, a Gift from God... It is his Day not ours, you have no right to make up a random day of worship and keep it holy.... Constantine was the cause of this, bringing paganism into Christianity.. let go of the world people, embrace Gods true ways.. Keep the Sabbath Day and keep it holy, God commands this of you ...

Christians need not keep Sabbaths? A biblical approach:

In Acts 15, a conflict emerges when Jewish Converts insist that the Gentiles must be circumcised or they cannot be saved. Acts 15:1

Paul and Barnabus go to Jerusalem to meet with the Apostles and Elders to settle the matter. Acts 15:2
Once they arrive in Jerusalem with the Apostles and Elders, the Pharisees demand that to be saved the Gentiles must be circumcised, and keep the Law of Moses. Acts 15:3
There is great discussion and argumentation over the matter, and James expresses their answer: Acts 15:20 “but that we write to them to abstain from things polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from things strangled, and from blood.” That is their decision.

And so, they decide to write a letter to the Gentiles to tell them what they are expected to observe. Acts 15:22
Luke quotes the letter, and it contains this: Acts 15:24 “Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”—to whom we gave no such commandment—“ Notice! Here there is no commandment to observe any Law of Moses instructions.
And then in Acts 15:28,29 they are given their instructions: “ For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: 29 that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.” Notice! These are the required things. But no burden of keeping the Law of Moses.

This subject pops up again in Acts 21. Paul again goes to Jerusalem and visits James and the Elders. He is accused of not keeping the Law, which Jews must do. And for the THIRD time the instructions for Gentiles is plainly expressed most clearly:
Acts 21:24,25 “you yourself (Paul) also walk orderly and keep the law. 25 But concerning the Gentiles who believe, we have written and decided that they should observe no such thing, except that they should keep themselves from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality.”

And there, for the third and final time, the Pillars of the Church had determined, that as a good Jew, Paul was to observe the Law. And that the Gentiles were absolutely not to observe those things! Which included Sabbaths. They had their instructions from the Apostles that did not include the Law of Moses! There is no Sabbath observance apart from the Law of Moses.

Sunday is not the 8th day of the week - it’s the beginning of a new week. Sabbath does not change because Jesus rose after resting on the Sabbath day. Sabbath rest is something God wants us to experience as part of our weekly routine. 🎉

Just as a note, as a Catholic, I'm surprised by the overwhelming number of people arguing against the Sabbath being observed on Sunday. Yes, in the Old Testament and in the Jewish tradition, the Sabbath is Friday night to Saturday night. But by observing the Sabbath on Sunday, Christians are honoring the Resurrection itself. In the Bible it's noted in numerous places that the early Christians met and worshiped on the first day of the week, including Acts 20:7, and Corinthians 16:2. Christians today observe the Sabbath on Sunday just as the first Christians did.

HE did NOT arise on the 8th day , HE arose at the end of the 7th day as the sabbath was ending , just like HE died 72 hours earlier just before the sabbath ended at passover (not a friday evening , there were 2 sabbaths in that week, passover and the weekly, notice it was called a HIGH sabbath), if what you say was true HE would have been in the heart of the earth 4 days and 3 nights , and that is not the sign of Jonah HE said EXACTLY 3 days and 3 nights , anything else and HE is/was not our MESSIAH , FACT , i do like lots of your other teachings , just consider what was just presented before you, keep in mind that sunday was named sunday because it was proclaimed "the day of the sun god , notice it was not SON GOD) JESUS is LORD of the sabbath

Jesus kept every Sabbath of His life, and even the Sabbath that occured between His death & resurrection. If we are to follow Him, should we not do likewise? He said, "If you love me, keep my commandments." Keeping the seventh day holy is the 4th commandment.

John 20:1 says that Mary Magdalene arrived at the tomb before sunup on the first day of the week and Jesus was already gone. So, no. His resurrection was NOT on Sunday. That idea is an invention of the Roman religious hierarchy, whose error came from their ignorance of the Torah, just like their claim of a Friday crucifixion. Saying Jesus rose on Sunday, the 8th day, and that is the first day of a new creation was simply an effort to make Jesus into a sun god. The Romans worshiped Mithra on Sunday, and had no intention of changing their tradition. So, they engineered a story through misinterpretation. What is astonishing is that a group of people with literally no connection culturally, linguistically or religiously to the people from whom the Messiah came were able to position themselves as the unquestionable authority over His church. They had the Roman army as their enforcers. The rest is their version of history.

John 19:31 says the Sabbath coming the day after the crucifixion was a high day. It was not the weekly Sabbath. The day after Passover is a Sabbath regardless of the day of the week. The crucifixion was on Wednesday. Thursday was a high Sabbath. Friday was the only day to legally buy the spices for Jesus' burial. Mary Magdalene rested on a Sabbath, then bought spices the next day, then rested on another Sabbath, arriving at the tomb on the first day of the week. On the day of His crucifixion, from noon until 3pm, there was darkness. Sometime after 3pm, Jesus died. Jesus was in the tomb from Wednesday night until Saturday morning.
Wednesday night, Thursday.
Thursday night, Friday.
Friday night, Saturday.
Jesus rose sometime before sundown on Saturday, making it exactly 3 days and 3 nights, rising ON THE THIRD DAY. Jeremiah 16:19

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love.

Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans

. The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom.

If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account".

That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do.
It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him.

It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction).

He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place.

He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.

He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way.

NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER
If you have any questions let me know
